Watch order ruined it. No masterpiece but a totally decent 7-8/10 anime. In the normal watch order of course. Do yourself a favor and watch it in the normal intented order, not what the giga brain of a director came out with.
You felt completely out of place sometimes. It really felt like the director rolled a 12-sided dice and fumbled the watch order together.
I'm a simple man and I enjoy simple things. I liked the story, the characters and the animation was also somewhat okayish. I really liked some of the BGM's like the one for the actual last episode. Which was like,

This anime was one of the most intriguing ones I've ever seen... UP TO EPISODE 11 9:58.
The story is great. (Before EPISODE 11 9:58) Our main character Satoru tries to change the past in order to save his friends. It all begins with Kayo, the first victim. He believes he's able to save her if only, he became her friend. Art is great... Well besides the interesting choice of Satoru's Mother's enormous lips it looks fine. (And the absolute abomination that was drawn in EPISODE 11 9:58) Sound is also nothing to complain about. Also a great opening and a fabulous ending. Up to EPISODE ... |
