If you’re hear from my Food Wars review, I deeply apologize for either a) how I trashed on your favorite thing ever since sliced bread, or b) because you actually read Food Wars to the end.
I like character driven and atmospheric films/shows that have something to say, so my scores are biased towards them. Mysteries and romcoms are cool too.
And yeah, yeah, I’ll get to Aria and Mushishi eventually.
How I score:
1 - I irrationally hate it. The show has nothing going for it.
2 - Almost hate, still complete trash. Nothing going for it.
3 - Meh, found no enjoyment, and if I did it has too many negatives. Maybe one good thing about it.
4 - I found some enjoyment, but I would never recommend. Don't know why I watched in the first place. Kinda lame.
5 - Missing some key points that I want in a show, falls flat. Somewhat wish I didn't watch.
6 - Worth a watch. Not the best show by any means, but has enough good points to check it out.
7 - You should be watching this. I have certain issues one way another, but this show made me thoroughly invested. Definitely a solid show.
8 - I have very few issues with this show, almost perfect. Not quite a favorite, but definitely something rewatch worthy.
9 - Some of my favorites, appeals to me in some level. There could be some things I would change.
10 - An all time favorite, a masterpiece. Makes me completely immersed in the characters and plot. I like everything about this show, and wouldn't change a thing.
None of this list is solidified in the slightest. Even the first slot could be changed fairly easily. As I watch more Miyazaki, Kubrick, Ozu, Kurosawa, Mizoguchi, Chan-wook, Chang-dong, Lynch, Scott, Aronofsky, Fincher, Nolan, Villenueve, Kon, Takahata, Kobayashi, Truffaut, Kaufman, Bergman, Polansky, Anderson, Coppola, ect; this will change.
