I'm just happy to run into someone with the same Toradora feelings. When I watched it I chronicled my reactions to the second half with some sarcastic screencaps (http://imgur.com/a/Au3Yc) and there was a nontrivial amount of Strong Ami/Minorin Opinions
Partly because she doesn't have any character traits I like or find interesting, partly because she gets so much screen time. Actually, I severely disliked most of the cast, except for Kyou.
>I also feel like the only person on Earth who doesn't like Nagisa all that much.
But you still put down Clannad AS as one of your favourites?
I feel similarly about Nagisa (only I would've described my feelings on her as outright hatred), which was one of the many things that soured my enjoyment of Clannad.
Hachi just grew up so much as an individual, arguably more so than Nana, that I had to put her as a favorite. I'd say she is actually the more mature of the two by the end. Not saying I don't like Nana, though. Not at all.
Yeah, eventually I'll watch Oniisama E. I heard it had a big influence on Maria Watches Over Us, which is a series I enjoyed. Gotta check it out.
Ah, yeah. DRRR! was so much more than I was expecting it to be lol. And I suppose if I had to say it'd be how they look...each character distinctly has a counterpart that looks SHOCKINGLY similar, save Ritsu...Felicia = Mugi, Yui = Kanata, Rio = Mio, Kureha = Azusa. Haha, Kimi ni Todoke looks like a reverse Toradora! in that the girl is actually the one who looks like a delinquent/creepy so I'm hoping it's good, and as for the Haruhi Movie...I don't remember what I said in the thread but yeahh Blu-Ray/DVD would be the best =P
Also, you aren't the only one who doesn't like Nagisa believe me. I'm not one of them, though.
I have an idea what you mean with Oniisama E, but I think you should finish it. Otherwise, it would be a waste of your time. Also, if you want someone to discuss anime with. Feel free to drop a friend request.
I think it's more fun to share our experiences with anime, after all.
Yeah, I deleted my post because it didn't look like anyone was going to post back. Thought that maybe there was to much clutter.
You have some good points, though. And, while I don't think the show is quite as bad as you make it out to be, I can agree that it does waste it's potential. It could have been profound, but is merely "okay" in imo.
Maybe the manga will turn out well, whenever I decide to read it.

Reading those extracts I'm gonna upgrade this vessel to "Practically Canon". Today is a good day.
