Upotte is an anime with beautiful premises that teaches us the importance of assault rifles, nah I’m just messing with you, Upotte is an anime cliché that has appeared in several other anime that came out during 2012. As you may have known, we are currently in a sort of era of anime that has lasted for over few years now, right after famous cute comedies such as K-On and Lucky Star came out, I call this era the moe era. In my opinion, Upotte is just one of those anime that try its best to be one of those cute comedy masterpieces, only adding read more

The review will further be edited as more and more episodes are released.~

Of course the plot of Date A Live does seem promising and intriguing to a degree, but it was executed poorly. I was so intrigued with the first few minutes that I grew so disappointed when this anime shown me its true colors that I said and I quote, “Really? I feel so disappointed…” As a result, my sister who overheard me asked if I had a bad day at school and thought I was a freak for explaining why I said what I said. But Date A Live does have its merits read more

Every Detective Conan movie has its own pros and cons. One movie can leave a negative or positive impact on you depending on the contents of it. However, combining all sixteen movies of Detective Conan will most likely create an overall masterpiece. The reason for this is because DC does not just use mystery as its ONLY genre, a multitude of different genres such as romance, adventure, and perhaps even comedy are found within. Another thing to point out is that each DC movie concentrates on a certain theme such as video games, architecture, and sports.

On with the review~

“My name is Hoshiyama Ichigo. I’m your ordinary first year middle school student. Back then, I would have never imagined that I, me, someone like me could become an idol!”

Story (7/10)
Aikatsu short for Aidoru Katsudou! (Idol Activities) is a collectible card game created by Bandai which revolves around using cards featuring various designer clothes to help aspiring idols make their dreams come true. The story tells of Hoshiyama, Ichigo as she slowly rises to the top with her best friend Kiriya, Aoi and new member of the group *drum rolls* Shibuki, Ran. I know what you’re thinking… “Not another anime about idols.” Which I can read more

Story
Otana Ni Nuts is definitely a strange manga that tells the story of a young 5th grade girl who only dreams of becoming a woman, and when I mean woman I mean the whole deal like, boobies, looks, and everything, mostly the sexiness though. The young heroine Natsumi, spins around adoringly in front of her mirror posing like the models from ‘America’s Got Talent,’ while saying her ideal line “sexy” with apples on her breasts to make them look like the sexy grown up boobies (mine are kind of small though). The manga explores the hardships in which little kids’ face, such as having read more

My sister and I are huge Zatch Bell fans, and we were extremely happy to find out that there was a movie on it. We both happily watched the movie with high expectations and glorifying hope that this movie will be one of the best movies we will ever watch. However, we were both disappointed on its overall outcome. "Zatch Bell Movie: Unlisted Demon 101" is an overall cliche movie that I feel will most likely leave its fans a feeling of disappointment. Indeed I will admit that I have watched several other anime movies and thus could easily compare and contrast which one read more

(Note: This review is for both season one and two of Sasami Magical Girls Club.)

Shall I take you into the mystical world of “Sasami: Mahou Shoujo Club”? A world in which both humans and witches have lived in peace and harmony, until that fateful day when humans had betrayed them and cast them away for their abnormal powers. The witches had no choice, but to build a new world, separate from the human world, where they lived in that world to reclaim the peace and harmony that was once theirs. But some witches have stayed in the human world for several purposes: family, friends, and read more

“Um, m-marriage is where your life goes to drink.”
When I first saw this anime while browsing for brand new anime releases, this anime came into view. My first thoughts… Probably just one of those cliché anime comedy romances. Well I got the comedy romance part right, but the cliché part I couldn’t have been any more wrong. Forgive me Otaku God for calling this anime cliché *goes on hands and knees* The jokes are quite fresh and new, and the romance is so adorable your most likely going to die from potential blood loss coming out of your nose.

“Tasogare Otome x Amnesia” tells the story of Kanoe Yuuko, a beautiful ghost girl who mysteriously died a gruesome death many years ago. When I first heard of this anime, I thought immediately that it would be a very interesting anime to watch, since I was really into horror stories and such. However, when I think about it, I believe I overestimated the anime a bit. You may hate me when I say this which may automatically make you press that “Not Helpful” button, but either way I will say it. While watching the first five episodes of “Tasogare Otome x Amenisia,” I find read more

"Huh, where the hell is this place?"
The whole plot of Weiss Survive is a story about a boy named Takeshi who is whisked away into a world where he is forced to play a card game with his childhood friend Michi who is an absolute tsundere. With this anime being two minutes each, it does a fairly well job at explaining the story, however this anime is too quick paced and at times I don't understand what the hell is going on. Basically each episode is like a roller coaster slowly rising to the finishing point. The anime does an amazing job at keeping read more
