My anime list is incredibly inaccurate, the only one that I actually would give a 10/10 being Kino no Tabi, but I'm too lazy to change it from what I had put when I was younger (12 years old?), and at that time I found everything enjoyable.
Manga list should be more accurate, everything 7 and above is recommended, 6s are niche, 5s are average/ordinary, but you might enjoy them, while 4s and below are bad.
I rate manga 50% based on my enjoyment, and 50% based on the actual quality of the manga excluding art (i.e. story, characters, plot holes)
10 is the best of its genre that i've read so far, the only rating in which i compare it to others of it's own genre, simply because every manga has flaws. If I look for a perfect manga so I can give it a perfect rating, 10, then that's impossible.
Because I don't like purposely reading manga with low rating (I sort by rating/genre) there's not going to be many below 5, while there's going to be a lot of 5s and 6s and quite a bit of 7s. /9/10s are both VERY good, but it's more like I don't want to put too many 10s so a lot of 9s are actually 9.5s while many 10s are 9.7s. I enjoy certain genres less than other genres, so you might see lower ratings in school life, harem, ecchi, shoujo, too much fanservice, or the like.
I had an isekai phase, a fantasy phase, and a survival game phase, with me reading a lot of isekai/fantasy/reincarnation, so the expectations of those are higher. 5 would be your typical isekai, which nonetheless i enjoy even with the OP mc and cliche plot. 7s are good, 8s-10s are probably the best i found in that genre so far.
The ones I've only read like 10% of it might not be incredibly accurate because it might get better, but from what I've read it's that rating
