Hey All, So I joined Mal back in October 2018 but never got around to writing a profile or introducing myself in the forums. So this is very late, but better late than never!

ANIME
Journey From Hating To Loving Anime: ❤️
So my first introduction to anime was about 7 or 8years ago, it was DBZ. My BF & his mate watched it all the time, therefore I was subjected to it too. I hated it. Infact I was one of those ignorant stereotypical people that had Anime pegged as cartoons solely watched by kids or adults with the maturity level of kids. I mean, WTF kind of adult is still watching kids cartoons? Right? Actually...it turns out I was very WRONG!!! (But more on that later, keep reading…)
So after a few years of being subjected to DB & DBZ, as well as other Anime’s, I came to the conclusion that Anime wasn’t going to go away. On top of that, it was getting harder to avoid without looking like I was being a total killjoy. So I did what any defeated, err I mean DECENT girlfriend would do… I started from scratch and watched every episode from the original Dragon Ball series and though until I was up to date with DBZ (That’s a lot of hours! Real Dedication!). Now I’m obviously up to date with Dragon Ball Super & awaiting next release.
I'm not quite sure how it happened & I hated to admit it at the time, but I started to really get into watching it, I even started watching Naruto and Bleach too. Pulling numerous all nighters, just so I could see what happened next. I just ended up hooked!. Now I’m the Anime junkie lol & he's the one who takes the p*ss out of me! Lol.
Anyway I’m still going strong, though I think my BF thinks I’ve taken this Anime dedication thing a bit too far. Probably because I sit with my headphones on watching Anime so much. I think he feels ignored 😂 It’s his own fault though, he got me started! Plus he's always online gaming nowadays, which I draw the line at trying (I suck at games 😖, I’m embarrassingly bad). So all’s well!, He games, I Anime!.
So that’s my journey to Loving Anime!

WEBTOONS
I've recently discovered WEBTOONS! All I can say is WOW! I love them.
I've always wanted to read Manga, but I could never quite get into it. It just never clicked with me. Maybe I just don't have the imagination for it.
But with WEBTOONS, it just kind of clicked, I suspect it's because they are colourful, which probably makes up what my imagination is lacks. Also, they are read in a vertical storyboard which i find much smoother.

The other thing I came across, is dubbed Webtoons. These are simply amazing! The voice acting just brings the comic to life, it's almost like watching an anime, but yet still reading along at the same time.
My favorites so far are:
- My Dear Cold Blooded King
- Tower of God
I've read them both with and without dub and highly recommend them.
It's a pity that there aren't many of the dubbed versions, but hopefully there will be more in the future.
