Greetings, as you can probably tell, I'm Pockeyramune919.

You can possibly gauge from my username that I'm a self-proclaimed otaku so if that makes you "cringe", you probably won't particularly care for me. Although I'm an otaku, I wish to make it abundantly clear that I am not a weeaboo.

My user name comes from two Japanese snacks that I tried shortly before making my MAL about three years ago. As I still fancy the snacks (and due to the fact that I hate parting with things), I don't think I'll change my username, at least not in the foreseeable future.

But enough boring stuff

It shouldn't be a secret that I love anime. I love it so much that I felt the need to make a list for all the anime I watch :P

My favorite anime is Ranma 1/2. Dr. Slump and Arale-Chan would be a close second if more than twenty episodes were subbed...

I like those two so much because they're "feel-good" anime for me, they're guaranteed to make me feel warm and make me smile. Other than those, I'd say that I enjoy action, primarily shounen anime, but you may discover that I'll watch a wide variety of things. There isn't much that I don't like, so everything is rated pretty highly on my lists. I'm a sucker for romance, so if it's handled well, that's one way to guarantee a high score for me. I also like mecha but prior to this year, I only watched two mecha anime, so I decided to get into the Gundam series.

I also adore Studio Ghibli movies, in fact, Castle in The Sky is my favorite movie.

Besides watching anime and reading manga, I spend my free time reading novels (my favorite is To Kill a Mockingbird), eating, playing video games (my favorite is Final Fantasy VIII), and writing.

Hopefully I can meet others who share my tastes in anime and hopefully you won't judge me too harshly if you think the anime I watch are all trash.
