My Mantra I enjoy Anime, because of the stories... some would say that's all I care about. Art style is important, but if you can't connect with the characters there's really no point in watching. English dubs are preferred (So I can enjoy the art/story), but I will watch subs! How I Grade/Rate Anime As everyone “should” know anime is very subjective, not everyone likes the same things “you” may like. People’s opinions are based on their background when watching any given Anime, and the same goes for me. With that being said this is how I rate anime… All my ratings are based on my first run (or showing) of any given anime. That means I don’t change them once I enter a number. All my ratings are done right after I watch the last episode of a series. This is both good and bad as my emotional connection with any given show is probably at its highest right after, which can be a direct link to how I “feel” about the show. However, this may alter my view slightly to look past certain flaws which others would graciously point out. Normally I conduct a long process of finding and deciding if the anime is worthwhile “to me” through research. While I do make note of others ratings it’s not a deciding factor. I genuinely like anime so I’m not actively seeking flaws with any particular anime. Generally, my ratings stem from how the show portrayed the plot, animation and characters. If it pulled off a great plot with fantastic animation and substantial character development it’s a 10… from there I work my way down.   ⇓ Random Super Smash Bros Wii U Gif ⇓  Learn More About Me...
