I fairly new to VNs myself, I am currently playing through the most popular and highest rated VNs on VNDB which is like myanimelist for VNs. Let me know know if you want any VNs recommendations.

I think Brazil is far enough to be safe from coronavirus, as it stands the rate of fatality is already falling down.

What is significant about current development is that for a long time now CCP could silence any internal opposition by simply pointing towards China's massive economic growth over the last decade as it's mandate but now with economy slowing down the CCP is much more vulnerable than ever before. Add into the current slow down and trade war, the coronavirus and the problem only get exaggerated further.

Internationally I agree, I don't really see any long term consequences of it but the baring of Chinese citizens from entering several countries does hurts it's prestige.

Looks interesting, is it western? My only experience with non-Japanese mech is watching the transformers cartoons. I have been getting into visual novels lately, played through the science adventure series a while back and now I am currently playing through Baldr Sky. There has been a lot of VNs releasing as of late in Steam.

There was a leak from Tencent a while also with what people said was the actual figures of dead of coronavirus and it's much higher at 25000. This was back in February 5th so who knows the real figures are? Here in India we had multiple reported cases and several quarantine but so only 3 confirmed cases.

However it seems the biggest effect of the coronavirus is political more than anything. The CCP is facing mounting criticism inside the country for the death of whistleblowers among other things, while internationally more and more countries are baring Chinese flights and citizens from entering. CaspianReport's video on it did a good job summarizing it

I know what you mean, the newtype stuff was bad in 0079 as well. From what I have heard, the 0079 production ran into many problems because of which Tomino had to make many changes to his original storyline. If you haven't already you should check out the gundam novels. They are based on Tomino's original ideas for the story which are far more mature and lot darker than the anime as well.

And asides from anime what else have you been following? The coronavirus has been the hot topic recently, what are you thoughts on that?

Sure, I'll do that. Zeta is my favorite in the UC Gundam so far. There were a few characters like Rosamia and Katz that were annoying especially in the last 10 episodes or so but overall I loved Zeta.

Yeah, from what I have seen it's a very divisive show. Personally I love bleak shows with lot of suffering and despair, Ideon and another show Bokurano have been on my list for a while now. You should check Bokurano out as well if you haven't already.

I am in the middle of reorganizing my list and profile, too many shows in there that I need to rewatch and too many shorts and specials. I finally have some free time now so I am also looking forwards to watching some older shows as well. I see you have been watching Ideon, how are you finding it so far? It's also in my ptw.

I am alright, I didn't get enough time to watch any show this season, though I may watch Ishuzoku Reviewers once it finishes airing. what about you?
