Sounds really cool, and I can totally see how it has influenced Kill la Kill later on, though it seems to be even more acidic. Well, I think I'll give the dub a shot then. Thanks!

Hey, what's up, so I'm kinda interested to watch Panty & Stocking, how's the show been so far for you? I mean, I know you gave it a 8 score, but what's good about it?
The-Ray Mar 14, 2019 8:26 AM
Well yeah, I think it is entertaining too, but I wish they move things up in the anime and progress the plot a little. Because there's a difference between watching the same gag every week for 20 minutes as compared to taking 5 mins to read it. But the progression is probably not gonna happen, it's just an ad for the manga where things actually progressed but way later, which won't be shown in the anime unless it gets another season I guess.

And yes you should really be checking out Dororo. AOTS easily.
The-Ray Mar 13, 2019 11:08 AM
You should definitely watch Dororo, Mob Psycho II and maybe even Shield Hero. They are better than Kaguya and Kakegurui, who repeat the same thing every week.

Nothing much, just catching up on some seasonals. What about you?

Hello
Azizdy Jan 29, 2019 1:53 PM
Well that was interesting read XD

I think Eva wasn't necessarily trying to expect us to understand it all, but more that it left us to interpret what had happened for ourselves. You can understand Eva anyway you want, and if that's how you like it, then everything's alright.

I will agree that much makes alot of sense, when you first view, but I didn't really mind it since the message made up for it, at least imo. Like I said, have your own take on it anyway you want.

Overall, I'm glad you had some fun with it. Eva tends to be hit or miss with people, so it's always interesting to see a first-timer's reaction :)

Do you plan on seeing the Rebuilds? It differs drastically from the original as a retelling.
Azizdy Jan 27, 2019 3:16 PM
I'll try my best to explain things, Eva is known for being pretty convoluted.

So TL;DR, Shinji is a kid who fears abandonment and loneliness and pretty much hates himself and thinks he can never be loved, but learned that if he can accept and love himself, that he can be able to open himself up to others, and everyone congratulations him for coming to that realization.

You're gonna have to do some browsing in all honesty, Eva is pretty hard to understand when first viewing it.

The convolution doesn't stop there, EoE is one helluva experience lol. Be sure to let me know what you think after you finish it.

>Did you watch the Rebuild movies? Are they recap movies or sequels?

Yeah, they're essentially a reboot series that drastically differs from the original later down the line. I recommend them once you're finished, its pretty polarizing among people.

Btw, how's Shirobako? That's another favorite of mine!

Good to see! Eva definitely gets more "mindfucky" in its second half, so it's interesting to see a first-timer's reaction to it. There's FAR more to come.

Thoughts on the characters?

Thoughts on Evangelion so far?

Thanks for accepting my friend request. Glad to see Lelouch in your favourites!

Btw you should read more manga ^^

I can agree that the time and place for the last arc was out of place, but I did think that the mystery behind was very intriguing with a great twist. Also agree with how creepy the woman was, Mononoke really knows how to be disturbing.

>Did you randomly stumble upon Mononoke and decided to watch it or was it recommended to you?

It was a case of having randomly stumbled upon it. It was recommended to me on VRV when I was getting into Aria for some reason, but I’m otherwise glad I gave it a chance XD

The first one fucked me up real good. But the end of the incense arc was fucking awesome.

Its between those 2 tbh.

How about you?
Azizdy Dec 19, 2018 4:17 PM
No problem. I highly recommend Mushishi, its a very beautiful, and soothing to watch. Sangatsu is highly recommended too ;)

Thanks for accepting my request!

I remember our affinity being pretty low, but it's good to see it having gone up.

Also really like your faves, it's nice to see Rakugo and Mononoke fans!
