there is an interesting interview too,
from that interview, looks like we are not getting zts tracks anytime soon(reason why the tracks were so short this time).

Yeah that's the problem with this episode. Pretty dry and dusty exposition, kinda expected because of the nature of the novel, but doesn't help that the characters are just treated as mere vessels for exploring the themes before their characterization. I think more backstories like Gunhild or even fun character interaction scenes like those in fragments in the main story would have really helped to make a better reading.
Lost the count for "walls of peace" and "sprouts of war", these ramblings about "we stick together so that our optimism can bring peace" is fine for the fine time, but gets tiring after a while. I think some of these themes are interesting, but couldn't care the way they are delivered here. At least the background mystery has got my attention. Any theories? Like

I thought soundtrack was okay yeah, the scenes towards the end with those songs are pretty good though.

Completed Ciconia I guess? Any opinion?

Yo! It's everything alright? I tried talking to you like a month ago on Discord but it says your account got deleted?

She definitely deserves all the happiness in the world :) Read another hour of the VN today and Ceren got introduced. I'm a bit indifferent towards her character at the moment but maybe that'll change. Might binge read it sometime after I finish Hidamari. I have no idea when or if I'll finish Chiru anytime soon tbh lmao. I love Umineko a lot but I can never find the right mood to read it.

Hidamari is an adorable show, couldn't recommend it enough if you're into iyashikei/cgdgt. Does both of these so well and the characters are very lovable. Watching it has honestly been a therapeutic experience for me lol.

Hi there, and likewise! I'm not too far into Requiem (2 - 3 hours I'd say), but so far it's been a great read to follow. Jacopo and Morgana were amazing characters in Fata Morgana, and seeing them get most of their development here is a treat. Excited to see how much further they'll develop.

I wouldn't have wanted it any other way.

Yeah Phos is such a tragic character it's heartbreaking. But that's what I love about HnK's premise where 'changing' literally means losing part of yourself.

Completely agree on everything you said about Eccentric Family and I'm glad you liked it. Like you said, Yasaburo's speach at the end about enjoying life for what it is is something I keep going back to in my head and it's something I've integrated into my life philosophy. Same goes for the show's messages of embracing yourself and cherishing your bonds.
I'm sure you'll like the second season's as well. It's not nearly as tight as the first but it still builds off it really well and has some of my favorite moments in the show. Also it introduces a great new character and Benten gets a lot of focus as we get to delve deeper into her character which you might appreciate.

And yeah I do have a discord even though I don't use it much yet. I'll message it to you.

Thanks, I ended up doing extremely well actually. And yeah Utena's been great, definitely deserves its reputation.

As for Houseki no Kuni, I've actually been supporting its digital releases. Volume 9 just came out and it killed me. I don't think I've ever suffered so much reading/watching a piece of media. And based on what you and other people've been saying, I'm already dreading the next volume.

I think it's definitely fair to take time to consider your choices and discover your passion at this point. Especially since it determines your whole career and future. I've seen way too many people regretting their choices and either end up stuck doing something they hate or drop out halfway through.

btw, I noticed you watched The Eccentric Family. What did you think? This is one of those shows that had a big impact on my worldview.

Life's pretty good at the moment. Went through some stressful couple of months studying for the most important exam of my life, but now that that's over I have a lot of free time. Last year of medicine is actually pretty chill. How about you?
Timeless- Sep 27, 10:48 AM
Nah we are having holidays right now, so mostly have some plans with friends(like movies, etc), and also busy with some other projects. Free time for visual novels and other mediums is slowly diminishing, unfortunately.

Oh that's nice to hear, has been a mixed year for me though(and yes pretty uneventful, routine work life).
Timeless- Sep 27, 9:44 AM
I heard that Okonogi is apparently some kind of time traveler who created all the mess in ciconia, and umineko/higurashi was created as fragments because of that. Or something like that, sounds absolutely hilarious.

Yeah last month was a headache because of semester exams, doubt I will be able to read ciconia next too. Maybe a week after that. What about you?
Timeless- Sep 27, 9:16 AM
There isn't much extra content than the first version apparently so thought what's the point of this second version. Not going to try it now, so yeah wondered if anyone here has read it already.

Okonogi as the time traveler confirmed at this rate, saw this theory somewhere
