Yeah, it definitely can be seen as that sort of B movie, but in my eyes it is also a story about getting older. Like, in the first scene I think you see Noera reminiscing about the good old days "when we could do whatever we wanted". Then he meets that young energetic girl with her weird "American Dream". He joins her but stays skeptical and kinda grumpy throughout the whole journey. Then at the end they reach their destination, and nothing really special happens there. Because he is already too old for that strange story about aliens to be true. I dunno, I'm not usually the guy to look for hidden meanings everywhere, but I thought there was something like that. :)

Yeah, it's definitely not a popular section on this site. I think I've noticed yours because it popped up in recent blogs when I was checking it out of curiosity/boredom.

I see you watched California Crisis. That OVA had some cool 80's songs, I think I still have them on my iPod.
