Sword Art Online is a great novel series, something that once you get attached to it you just can't get enough of it. Reki Kawahara is well aware of it that's why he keeps writing more and more side stories of it.

Sugary Days is the main 'attraction' of this SS collection. Stories focusing on the cute and romantic interactions between Kirito and Asuna, which were picked as the most favorited couple on charapedia in 2014 by the way. They're all great in their own special ways, and definitely worth reading.

Story - 10/10

If Sword Art Online's arcs were to be defined as if they were music genres, the Aincrad arc could be described as a mixture of a lot of great genres. The Fairy Cancer arc would be a generic and dislikeable fithy pop trash. The Phantom Bullet arc would be a nice eletronic uptempo tune. And with the Mother's Rosario it would be a nice transitioning to a soulful R&B/Soul song if not a passionate Gospel hymn, since it deals with read more

The Twilight Princess manga is a masterpiece, just like it's game counterpart. Link looks amazing and is really cool to see one of my favorite VG protagonists finally talking, even though he's the kind of character to express his thoughts through actions. Princess Zelda looks beyond gorgeous, but there's obivously more than just that to this gracious and strong-willed rapier-wielder. And Midna looks stunning and brave, just like in the read more

The Apocalypse is one of my favorite books from the Holy Bible. There's something so enticing and exciting about the world ending. It raises many questions such as: What am I going to do? How much time do I have left? And the people whom I love, what about them? And many, many others.
Zetsuen no Tempest (or Blast of Tempest/the Civilization Blaster if you prefer) is about the world ending, vengence, and many other stuff that I'm read more

To put it plainly: this sucks more than giant vaccums and it blows more than a nuclear bomb attack. It may not be (one of) the worst Light Novel(s) ever written... except for the fact that it is. I'll keep it short and simple and cut straight to the chase, since this is my first non-positive review and I don't want it to turn into a long-winded diatribe.

The story is unoriginal; it has a lot of predictable plot points, and a really uninspiring storytelling. The swimming scenes were very entertaining, they felt vivid and were obviously the highlight of the story. There were many explanations read more

Sword Art Online is a series that needs no introduction, given that it is a gateway Light Novel that helped popularize this medium (along with Web Novels) to a new high just like Final Fantasy VII popularized JRPGs in the west. It is a franchise that everyone already knows its name and this tale shows the reason why SAO is deserving of such massive popularity and commercial success. The 4th SAO arc, the โ€œProject Alicizationโ€, is the largest and most ambitious arc this franchise has and every part of it is worthy of praise.

The previous manga adaptations of SAO were, at the read more

A novel about a classic literature club, how monotonous must it be?

Koten-bu is a novel like no other I've read before. With its classy and whimsical atmosphere, peculiar plot, smooth and easy-going prose, amazing interactions between its quirky characters, plenty of references to western works and mysteries that are so simple yet with the way that they're presented they may seem like they're just as complex as the ones only Sherlock Holmes himself would be able to solve. With so many characteristics as these it is not an easy task to find a word to describe this novel, but if I had to choose, read more
