Unbelievable.

I didn't intentionally ignore any points and I don't need to lock myself in my room. The only thing that I didn't comment on is the "social distancing is damaging" argument because I agree (although less damaging than the pandemic, feel free to prove me wrong). If you think I missed anything else that is important, feel free to bring it up. You, however, ignored to back up your claim that the pandemic is fake.

"Five dollar masks from china" do protect from viruses (although they are obviously not foolproof protection). Why do you think surgeons wear masks in the first place? It's to minimize the risk of a pathogen directly entering the bloodstream in the area where the surgeon is working. The fibres in the masks can "catch" viral particles. If a certain percentage of the public wears a mask out in public, we get an effect similar to herd immunity. This is why Japan has so few deaths per capita compared to Sweden or the US. The vast majority of the population started wearing masks without it even being reinforced.

Masks also protect you from being infected. The virus can spread quite easily through the air because of its small size and when it enters your airways, the virus comes in direct contact with the alveolus in the lungs. There is only a 2 cell barrier between the air in the alveolus and the bloodstream. That is basically the worst possible place for the virus to come in contact with you, except for an open wound.

And yea, you obviously shouldn't be going out if you're sick. No one ever said that the purpose of a mask is to allow sick people to walk the streets. If you haven't already heard - people can be completely asymptomatic and still be contagious and you are often asymptomatic for the first few days of being infected (you can be contagious during this period). The main purpose if wearing a mask is to prevent these people from spreading the virus.

Now, assuming that you realize the harm not wearing a mask can do, do you still think that your comparison to a tie makes sense? I would argue that is it even worse than going into a store without a mask than being naked. Being naked doesn't directly hurt anyone in the store. You might damage the business because people become uncomfortable and don't want to be around random naked people. Not wearing a mask however doesn't only make people uncomfortable because of societal norms, it also directly endangers the customers and employees, which can be more damaging to the business of the store. No one cares if you're wearing a tie or not, that's why no one is forcing you to wear one. There is an actual reason why people care if you're wearing a mask or not. Businesses don't randomly want to kick out customers without a reason, that's just stupid. So, HINT: yea it is the customer who's the asshole.

It appears point five was too complicated. The point isn't that I think that people who don't wear masks are comparable to serial killers in the amount of harm they cause. That is obvious. As I already wrote, " It was an attempt to make you see the net gain of freedom as a result of enforcing mask-wearing/social distancing/etc."

I don't know much about your constitution but I can tell you for sure that breathing trough a filter isn't damaging your right to clean air, just like water filtration doesn't hurt your right to clean water. I honestly don't know how to make this any more clear.

If you want to be a Karen and attack me instead of having a conversation, that's fine but it isn't going to be anything more than a waste of time. I feel bad for you if this is the route you choose every time you find someone you disagree with.

1. Fake pandemic? What makes you think that it's fake?

2. I think you're confused about what "right to life means" means. Right to life definition according to equalityhumanrights (https://www.equalityhumanrights.com/en/human-rights-act/article-2-right-life): "This means that nobody, including the Government, can try to end your life. It also means the Government should take appropriate measures to safeguard life by making laws to protect you and, in some circumstances, by taking steps to protect you if your life is at risk." Assuming that the pandemic is indeed not fake, this is being broken by the Swedish government at this very moment.

3. Masks ARE LITERALLY MAKING THE AIR MORE CLEAN (it's essentially a fucking filter) you colossal moron. That is the entire purpose of a mask.

4. Your local Walmart not allowing you to enter their establishment because you're endangering their customers and employees is not breaking your human rights, it's common sense. They have every right to deny entrance, just like they would be allowed to do so if you were naked.

5. The serial killer "tangent" was meant to clarify that allowing some people to endanger other people is akin to not enforcing the victims (or potential victims) right to life. Putting a serial killer in prison for the rest of their life is taking away all their freedom but in exchange, you save innocent lives (protecting their freedom to life). Enforcing mask-wearing is a much less extreme version of this. It was an attempt to make you see the net gain of freedom as a result of enforcing mask-wearing/social distancing/etc.

The pandemic is a life-threatening situation for two of my direct family members and if mask-wearing or social distancing was enforced here, they'd be in a lot less risk of dying amongst thousands of others. I'd rather wear a mask and not eat out if it means that my family is safe. Right to life is a basic human right and theirs is being threatened by our government's inaction. You can't be free if you're not alive. Just like prosecuting a dangerous serial killer is protecting others right to live, enforcing mask-wearing and social distancing (which is not dangerous or hard in any way) does the same. Your liberty not to wear a mask or go out to eat isn't nearly as important to me as people in risk groups being safe.

Wouldn't you say not enforcing literally life-saving precautions is taking away others right to live (a basic human right)?

really hoping you're trolling man

Holy sh*t

I started watching it back in 2018, but after finishing first episode I kinda lost interest, but I didn't want to drop it, so I put it on-hold. Several days ago I thought about picking it up once again and about finishing this series at last.

I think that "Kuzu no Honkai" represents one two types of exaggeration that can be compared to two sides of a coin of extreme depictions of love and romance. To one side belong animes with pure lovey-dovey love with many scenes of blushing, smiling and treating some simple gestures like holding hands with each other as if it was equal to reaching Mount Everest's peak (lol); however, on the other side we have love seen also as something idealistic, but the whole idea of feeling this love is limited to pure egoism of one side and looking only for physical pleasures.

So in other words, among two extreme types of love (based on pure emotions; based on pure physical experiences), "Kuzu no Honkai" represents the second one, mixing it with the idea of platonic and unrequited love. The problem is that it failed to deliver this message and was nothing more than a boring slice of life telling a story of several degenerates with lightcore hentai scenes and pseudophilosophical thoughts of the main characters. This anime is weird to a point I dunno if it is wise to say it is really about love (extreme or not), or maybe it's rather to please fans of spicy fanservice and people who like to give a deep meaning to things that are simple as hell and don't require a lot of thoughts unless somebody is really bored. ;pp

Hey, thanks for accepting my friend request! :) Yeah, as I mentioned before, I agree with your "Kuzu no Honkai" review. This anime is basically a slice of life about degenerates pretending to have some depth, but ending up a boring show with a lot of unnecessary sex scenes and pseudophilosophical thoughts of its main characters.
