At first Yotsunoha did look quite promising and interesting. The story was something we all seen before - Childhood friends reuniting after years of separation. Yotsunoha is about a couple of childhood friends returning back to their abandon school where the group re-kindles their relationship. Elements of romance is present in the anime and a couple of jokes are pulled into play as well. However the anime proves to be something quite dull and boring.
Story: The anime is only 2 episodes long, each explains their past relationship with each other. The story is quite simple and unoriginal, however the viewer won't be looking forward
...
as how the story will unfold but rather which character the protagonist will choose. Though the story is simple, one part was different from the ordinary. The teacher hid the 'time capsule' that was filled with the characters past memories and the characters must find clues to find where it was hidden. It may sound interesting to you, but the process of collecting clues just wasn't there, the viewer won't feel enticed by any of the problem solving.
Summary: You will find yourself bored with the uneventful storyline. There is no drama, despite the tags, comedy wasn't a strong point either. The story had a series of flashbacks which reveal the character's past which then leads to who the protagonist will choose.
Animation: The animation was good better than the average anime, however that would be because there was only two episodes to cover. All the characters look nice and the background shines with colour. There weren’t any flaws in the animation and that was probably the best part of the anime.
Sound: The music isn't really noticeable and the OP and ED don't appeal to the watcher. The character's voices were fine, expect for one. Nono's. Her voice just didn't fit with the whole anime, I personally found her voice annoying and sometimes wanted her to not talk. However the music wasn't bad, it just wasn't outstanding either.
Character: The anime only focuses two characters, the rest where just there to look pretty. However the other female characters do add to the excitement level by putting the viewer in clueless state to which the protagonist will choose. All the characters you see in this OVA, will be characters you have already seen in previous animes. No character really gave a good appeal to me, except for the lolicon like Nono. She was a little different from the average anime, however her presence made the anime worst not better.
Enjoyment: There was no drama, no twists, no excitement or climax. This anime was boring, not much was revealed through the two episodes. The comedy was hardly there, however there was a particular scene near the end that did make me smile a bit, but that was it. Even the harem was hardly visible.
Overall: I wouldn't recommend this to anyone, however the story gives a relaxing feel.
Drama? No
Twists? No
School days? No
So if you are looking for an anime along those lines, then try out Yotsunoha
Seriously don't watch it, you'll probably be better off with School days.

Disappointing. One word to describe this series. The anime starts of well, drawing the attention of the viewers only to let us down in the end. Or should I say, from the second episode.
Story: Well, the idea of humans and dragons co-existing with each other really caught my attention. It manages to hold on to it, until everything went downhill, badly. The beginning gives the viewer a fresh feel of what to expect in the series, with an interesting plot to keep us entertained. It starts of with the protagonist being stuck on a space shuttle that is destine to be doomed, but the
...
story doesn't the focus on that, but focuses on the love between a dragon and a human. It may sound pretty nice at first, but trust me; Dragonaut isn't very nice - not nice at all. The producers throw in a bunch of romance elements in the show, which was (mentioned by another reviewer) great in the beginning, which soon became very annoying and repetitive throughout the anime. The ending, sorry to say didn't end so well, and hopefully a second season won't be thrown in.
Art: Now, when I first watched the first episode, the animation was great. The CG didn't really fit in with the 2D animation but it was still enjoyable. However, like I said, that was the first episode. When the show continues on, the animation seemed butchered. Also, this may be added as a fan service, but why the oversized breasts? If this was meant to be fan service, I don't seem to see the service in it.
Sound: Watching how bad this anime was, I even forgot how the sound goes, however the sound was not off-tune or neither was catchy. The background music wasn't anything special, the OP and ED are at a reasonable standard. I would probably suggest that you would watch the OP 25 times than watch this rubbish.
Character: I must say, all the characters a pretty different from each other. The cast has a vast amount of characters ranging with different personalities. However, most of them are cliché characters; characters we seen from numerous animes. All the characters all have an impact on me, they all piss me off. Kazumi, Jin, Gio, Asim, yes all of them all play a good role in annoying the viewer.
Enjoyment: Enjoyment? No, not this anime. The only thing I enjoyed was seeing the show end. I can't say much more than this, I enjoyed the first couple of episodes which had me watching for more, however like I said, and like other reviewers have said, this anime does not deliver.
Overall: This anime seem to have a promising start, with great CG and pretty decent animation. This is one anime you don't want to watch. If you have already seen all of it, I suggest you give a pat on your back - you really do deserve it.

Tsukuyomi -MOON PHASE- is about a photographer who takes pictures of ghosts for a living. Kouhei the protagonist then encounters a vampire, whom tries to force him to become her slave.
______________________________________________________________
Story: The story is quite simple, but isn't your typical romantic comedy anime. It focuses on the relationship between a human and a vampire, which can become pretty interesting if it can deliver it well. Every anime has its villain, and the bad guys really make the story interesting.
______________________________________________________________
Art: The art isn't the best, and it doesn't appeal to the audience. The majority of the anime consists of dark colours, and in some
...
parts the characters and the background look very sketchy. However, the art is still viewable and can still give the audience an entertainment throughout the anime.
______________________________________________________________
Sound: Alright, the OP and ED doesn't really suit the whole idea of a relationship between a photographer and a vampire or the battle between a good and evil. There aren't many sound effects that enhance the overall anime but that doesn't really kill off the entertainment.
______________________________________________________________
Character: Tsukuyomi -MOON PHASE- has it all, from jealous twins, perverted grandpa, cute vampires to evil villains. The character development between the cast is at a good standard but what was a big let down was the relationship between the two main characters. Their development starts off pretty slow, and doesn't have a 'climax' in their relationship, which basically means; their relationship never becomes an up and down one, but rather a steady but repetitive one.
______________________________________________________________
Enjoyment: The whole idea of vampirexhuman gave a pretty good impression on me, but the anime didn't portray it well enough. Most of the things that were shown felt repetitive and boring. Also you can clearly predict cliché moments. However the anime is still 'watch able', but starting from the middle of the series, I just went: "End already, I have better things to watch."
______________________________________________________________
Overall: Overall, Tsukuyomi -MOON PHASE- isn't necessary a bad anime but nor is it a good one, if you want to watch good and deep romance anime, I would suggest you keep away from this. But if you just want a casual romantic comedy that keeps you busy then pick this up.

Parallel can be considered a typical story about a boy and a girl living together in one roof. There are not many animes/mangas that do this theme well. Even though they are not many producers that make this theme, I am please to say that the producers did a good job in Parallel
Story:
The story becomes very intriguing in the start of the manga, however as the manga develops on, it starts to throw random scenes into the manga. This however could be a bad thing for some readers, but in this case, it worked well. The character development, which I will go into detail later,
...
slowly progresses throughout the story, and the main character Nekota sometimes gets himself into tight situations. One major disappointment of the storyline is the length, I would have wish for more chapters to further more develop the characters and the story.
Art:
The art is quite typical for a normal shounen manga, there’s nothing too interesting about the art. But it is easy to follow and easy on the eyes. The characters look great, no question about that but some of the male characters look dodgy as mentioned by Master_M2K but nevertheless the art is still pleasing to read.
Character:
You can expect the characters to be very typical and predictable. The main character as mentioned above gets stuck into awkward moments with the female protagonist. This can be fairly funny at times, but when it happens too many times, it just gets repetitive. The characters develop slowly in the manga;where a potential brother falls in love with his 'potential' sister. There are more characters in the manga which gives the manga a comedy element to laugh upon.
Enjoyment:
This short, yet funny manga is really easy to read. Most of it can be predictable but you can still read the funny moments in the manga. I really enjoyed the manga and I bet you will too.
Overall:
Overall this manga will make you craving for more, even when there is no more, and it will make you intrigued throughout the manga.

Myself;Yourself is a romantic comedy about a boy name Sana and his childhood friend Nanaka.
Story: The story is quite typical; a boy comes back to his hometown after 5 years, to see everything has changed. Although most of the story is predictable, there are some good twists to the plot that will leave you shocked most of the time. The story also goes through a small number of flashbacks to reveal more of the characters. The story loses marks for some of the unnecessary fillers. Although the series is 13 episodes, the producer has made a good job to wrap everything up.
Art: The
...
art in Myself;Yourself is pretty good, however since it is aired this year, the art is not outstanding compared to others. However it still provides the viewer a pleasant animation to watch.
Sound: The music is great, the OP and ED is just filled with happiness and joy. Also Nanaka's violin playing is beautiful as well. The music works well with the anime, providing tension in awkward moments and bringing joy into happy times.
Character: Each character has a unique personality, through the cute Aoi, to the mysterious Nanaka. The character develops fairly fluent through the 13 episodes. Nanaka and Sana's past leaves the viewer in mysteries, which is great because it really makes the audience guess/predict what had happen during the 5 years.
Enjoyment: Yeah, I enjoyed it. Although it is a short anime, I really liked seeing each character develop slowly in the anime. Combined with beautifully drawn art, and nicely composed music, Myself;Yourself did a great job entertaining me.
Overall: Myself;Yourself may not be the best anime out there, but it is really something you should pick up and watch. And no, it is NOT like school days. So don't expect anything gruesome. ^^

I will try keep this short, understandable, and not too long for some viewers who just want to know a short opinion about the anime, and not a detailed essay (no offence intended to other reviewers)
STORY:
The main theme in 5cm is distant love; the story in 5cm is typical in most animes. However, Shinkai Makoto has not only created something with deeper meaning but has also transformed how we watch anime.
The story is divided into three arcs, each telling a different story at a different time. The story mainly revolves around a boy/man name Takaki and his long time childhood friend, Akira. The
...
story is beautiful, with a great ending.
ART:
What can I say? Shinkai Makoto has done it again! The art in 5cm isn't just intruding, but it is also realistic. From the flickering reflections in the train to the detailed buildings and characters. The art just blends in with the story beautifully, just seeing the art just makes me want to watch this over and over again.
SOUND:
The music in 5cm perfectly blends in with the atmosphere of the anime, you feel as if you are in the movie. The music somehow manages to smoothly merge the viewer and the anime together. The sound effects fulfills its purpose by providing realistic sounds such as the perfectly executed train noises. Although the music does not play a major role in the first two episodes, the ending music is just amazing; it really makes you synthesis for the characters.
CHARACTER:
As you continue to watch 5cm, you are immediately drawn into the characters, as mentioned above; the story is divided into three arcs. One in his childhood days, one in his high school days and the last in his adulthood days. Each arc all contain the main character, Takaki and as the story continues characters revolve around him.
ENJOYMENT:
Although I have only watched this once, it has already left an impact on me. The art, sound and the overall story pulled me into the movie. I really enjoyed this movie to a point that I wrote a review on it. ^^
OVERALL:
Shinkai Makoto has not only created a movie with outstanding art and music but also combined the elements of Romance and Drama into one heck of a movie.
10/10
