Story - individual love stories revolving around six woman (each getting their own two episodes) and a myth about diamond dust during the winter season. Some are done very nicely and others being fine. 8

Art - Has a nice style, good amount of detail. But their faces have a weird shape when at an angle. 7

Sound - Nice soundtrack with soothing pieces that remind me of the season. Provokes and influences emotion. 8

Characters - Each one of the main characters (and most of the supporting characters) are fleshed out nicely, which is impressive to do with only two episodes each. 9

When making an anime, or any kind of show for that matter, you need a a plot. I personally don't think this score justifies this show, because as anime grows, more and more new and unique ideas always come forth. This isn't a bad thing necessarily, but it has turned into the norm for anime to always raise the roof with new ideas or if not new ideas.

I am giving this anime the score that it is because I feel like it took it's ( simple ) story it had and executed it very well.

STORY:

There are a lot of people always put this anime at the bottom when comparing them to the other two anime that are part of the Key Trilogy, and I can definitely see why as well as well as a missed opportunity of appreciation.

If you don't already know, Key anime are adaptations of Visual Novels by Key Visuals.

As for its story, its standard stuff when it comes to Key Animes, with a male protagonist with many females getting their own arcs, each one having some sort of supernatural/drama bend that is most likely sad in some way, if there is one thing ...
