Oh lol yea since you've seen it you can probably the vast quality difference between FMA and some casual shows like idk, date a live?
Blazestar Jun 6, 2015 3:32 PM
Um, it should be relative. If you rate them based on enjoyment, there might not be one that's too low. But if you look at them from a technical point of view, you really haven't seen any show that, at least in my opinion, good.

What I would suggest at the point is to watch more independent titles. Since you have only seen a dozen shows, and most of them are in the same genres, you really can't tell what is good or bad. Watch death note and full metal alchemist as starters, they are universally accepted as good amines.

No problem. But keep in mind that the more you write, the more arguments you make, the more people would disagree with you, especially when it comes to sensitive titles like Death Note or Attack on Titan.

That said, you should still judge shows impartially, don't let blind enjoyment blow you away. Although there is nothing wrong with rating purely based on enjoyment, but when you decide to write a review... that's a different story. Oh and also, we are not giving scores to grade school students, so I suggest you to utilize the scoring scale of 1 to 10, as opposed to 5 6 to 10.

Just a little feedback on your first review.
First of all, where is the "character" section?
Second, I think you are being too careful, cuz you didn't say anything... At all?
Third, you can use anything from the first episode and the synopsis to eatablish your argument on why you think the show is good or bad. Spoilers are things like "the zombie girl is killed by her father" and things like that, which are not needed to explain the quality of a show.
Forth, music and art are relatively subjective, but they do have technical things to evaluate: how smooth is the animation? Was there lots of frames per second? Was there lots of still images lasting for seconds? Do the music enhance the viewing experience? Are the soundtracks strong enough to be enjoyed on its own?
Fifth, please read through the MAL guide line on writing reviews, which can be found in the review editing interface. The thread is quite long but it will guide to on track. :)
I like Sankarea, but it's too generic and bland. Characters are pretty one dimensional. The ending isn't confusing, because this show is not a complete manga adaptation.

Anyways, good luck!
