I hate to be one in the mass and criticize your reviews, and I do believe that sometimes you bring up very valid points about shows. You have the right to judge a show however you want but I just want to comment on one of your reviews because I feel we have very different opinions of the show and I hope to change some of them.
The review I would like to comment on is your death note review. You brought up some very valid points about the story, characters and animation of the show, but I believe that you may be a bit harsh on the show. Let us start with story. As you said, the Death note is a very overpowered tool but not with its flaws, mainly the user. The death note cannot kill without a writer, and the show presents many different writers of the Death note to show how different people use it and what mistakes they make to make them self look like the killer. And I did not understand why you did not think Ls actions were realistic. Okey, i get that he makes no mistakes in his assumptions and that it is kind of strange, but L is introduced as the best Detective in the world and I believe that he does his job really well. One other point is that a fictional world can never be the real world, so i don't understand why you had a hard time separating the two. The reason the writers wanted to make the world seem realistic is that then the people who watch the show can relate to the setting of the show more easily.
The art of the show, like you said isn't the best today or the best of it's time. But the money in the show isn't in the animation. So let us not focus on that right now.
The characters of the show is one of the best parts of the show, and here's why i believe so. Death note is not trying to be trend setting with its characters or anything, but the interesting thing about the show is how the main characters chase each other in a cat and mouse game. No people is perfect and everyone makes mistakes, and that is what the show is about. How one mistake can ruin a whole plan and that the other party picks up on your mistake and can make the most of it, even if it seems kinda strange.
So that's my opinion. I love Death note because it always keeps you at the edge of your seat and always trows interesting plot points that are very amusing to see unfold. I respect that you took so much time to wright your review of the show even if you didn't like it.
Have a nice day :)
