Being from the same author, I’m surprised you didn’t like “The Older Girl Next Door”. Didn’t like the age gap dynamic?

Monogatari is my favorite series of all time so I'd highly recommend it. The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses was one of my favorite animes to come out this year, and I've read a bit of the manga and wish it would get a second season.

A lot of the time, people overlook romance manhwa cuz they're either not popular or have a crap ton of melodrama, but these are some gems in the rough. They feel a lot different from most romance manga because they're really structured and all have good plots that actually lead towards something (not the purely romance manga don't, but it's more common to just see some gimmick beaten to death in romance manga). I recommend all of em:

https://myanimelist.net/manga/144267/Kaoru_Hana_wa_Rin_to_Saku - Excellent shoujo that I've been following for over a year now. Really good character development and sweet romance.
https://myanimelist.net/manga/96046/Kawaii_Hito - Don't remember much about this one but I remember it being a pretty sweet read.
https://myanimelist.net/manga/91514/Kishuku_Gakkou_no_Juliet - this one is long, but has an amazing conclusion as a romance and overall story. There's a 12 ep anime that precedes it but I highly recommend because the anime is nice af too.
https://myanimelist.net/manga/121504/Yubisaki_to_Renren - This one is about a deaf girl falling in love with a mysterious guy. I think it's gettnig an anime next season, but worth the read nonetheless.
