Wow, I never got a notification for your reply and I just checked your profile since it's your bday coming up and I see that I haven't replied to you. I'm sorry for replying so late ;-;
That is true, but it is a people's vote after all. Well yes whilst the process in itself is long it does not mean that it is not doable. Well to some extent, politicians no matter how you look at it, whilst it is our job to hold those in power to account, they are still pretty powerful.
Well I don't think there is really much of a different way to look at to begin with, and yes that is another thing, but then again I think it just has to be adjusted. If I were to say how it can be done, is through allowing more views to be taken into account, less bias views to begin with, and just people's opinions, because after all it concerns the general public. Well to be fair I take news with a pinch of salt, but fake news is tough to spot to begin with, since a lot of them honestly look genuine. Yes it is, it is up the editorial decisions after all, so if the editor does not like something they can just scrape it. Of course, certainly with young journalists like myself, who are trained differently in comparison to how it was let's say 20 or 30 years ago. Whilst overall freedom of speech till this day is problematic and whilst related, it is a topic of its own and would result in a lengthy discussion, overall knowledge needs to be increased, whilst ignorance and misinformation within the public has to decrease. Not a problem at all, I do think this is something that everyone has to consider, journalist or not. Thank you it was no more essay for life I hope, it was by far the toughest thing I've done so far.
Of course. Well not only that, I think people from different areas of expertise should come together as a way to resolve issues, from scientists to environmentalist to journalists and so on. Let's hope for that.
I actually finished Shiki today which was quite interesting if you're into vampire/ supernatural bit of horror kind of thing. I might read The One which is about this woman who ends up working for a modeling company even though she was not convinced at first. I started it at one point but I then forgot all about it, so I'm going to start reading it from the start. As for anime not too sure yet. I might watch Hanamaru Youchien. How about you?
That is true. There are far too many leaders out there taking drastic measures. Neither can I. It just does not add up, I mean surely if they were smart enough to figure it out, which perhaps is not the case, since I think it is more about ignorance and simply misinformation on the topic, plus they simply choose to ignore it. Whilst I do think the figures that are shown are not exactly right, it still does not mean that it is not a real problem.
Yes that is true, but people ignore it. Well ok maybe not so much ignoring it, but it is more about what sells better, hence why we don't hear about it, because it's all about what I call selective news. Whilst I personally would not take it from that perspective, and I would put into the light what really matters, most journalists are simply enforced to publish those stories. They always talk about how it is in the interest of the public and all, but I think that is not quite the case anymore. As long as it gets them viewers, and earns them a revenue then nothing really matters anymore. Crappy way to look at it, but sadly it is the truth. Again not the kind of journalist I would want to be, because for me it's about laying out the whole truth on the table. If people don't like it oh well, but it's better than to bluff, and hide the real truth. Uff sorry for the lengthy paragraph, but that is literally what I am waiting about for my essay, but with reagards to mental health. None the less the same principle applies. I completely agree with that, but again people choose to ignore it. That is true, I mean if I remember correctly it made news in early December or something like that? I can guarantee it was around much longer than that, but people just had no idea about the symptoms and so on.
Certainly ^^ That is understandable. As long as you are comfortable that it is all good.
Well we will have to. It's not exactly an option whenever we like it or not.
So true. Plus considering the fact that it has already been found that there may be another pandemic under way. Can't remember but I read somewhere that this disease happened before, and it could be far worse than when it happened the first time. That is true.
Probably a comfortable sofa or chair. I sometimes read on the bed but I prefer the back support from a chair.
Well it will never be the same that is for sure. We may need to learn how to live with it. I completely agree with that, plus what about illegal fishing or deforestation? I'm sure that plays a part somehow.
That's good. It works differently for everyone else. I'm not too fused whenever there is noise around me or not, as long as I just focus on the story and nothing else. I see.

Nice to meet you :)
Just don't put your banana-flavored Birthday cake in the microwave, Okabe. We don't want you disappearing off into the past or the future ;)

I bet :)
Well of course. I suppose that at least it gives you the peace and quiet, so you can just enjoy it.
