Colorful Shining Stars Club will be shut down at the end of September.
It was a nice start on reviving this club and it's sad to say that I'll have to retire
for now. Perhaps until next summer or when the creator is back,
this club could be up and running again, along with our collab partner, Hartwell: MAL School of Enchantment.
I want to thank each and every one of you for joining this club, it really means a lot to us.

Debt sucks...I'm just getting into it...I knew a woman from Ireland, she was quite nice, we didn't really connect (she was in Chicago for medical stuff at the same time I was), but Ireland + UK seems cool

Heh, do I seem that knowledgeable? I think that is more just the way I act, I'm not particularly educated around philosophy, eventually I will be! (Three philosophy classes in my first semester, education will be had)
Phantom is great, definitely worth seeing all of it
That must have been an amazing experience. Every trip I've ever taken sounds boring next to that! :P Honestly, I'm jealous that you got to do something so incredible.
The beginning of season 3 of TWGOK had me wondering if I had skipped some episodes! I don't know why they jumped so far ahead in the manga. I hate feeling like I missed something, but I wasn't in the mood to read dozens of chapters in the manga just to catch up. But I guess it didn't affect the third season too badly, all things considered.
I think I'm rooting for Chihiro. I got to like her a little more during the 3rd season.
I was starting to look like the new Sailor Moon was never actually going to happen, after being delayed repeatedly, but I guess it's finally going to air this time! What do you think of the art style? I've watched the trailer several times, but based on just that, I can't decide if I like it. Either way, it's going to be really hard to get used to.
I'm trying to be optimistic about the series, hoping it won't flop, but at the same time, not getting my hopes up too high. I want to ignore the original series as much as possible as I watch it, and not keep comparing them, or it'll be hard to fully enjoy. Though I think, no matter how good or bad this series is, it'll at least be financially successful, just because it's Sailor Moon. It's one of those things that almost can't fail.
I was really surprised when I read that Viz had licensed it! I know other companies have tried to license Sailor Moon over the years, after ADV and Geneon's licenses expired in the mid 2000s, but never could. I really hope it sells well for them, especially since Viz probably paid a massive amount of money for it.
Wow, Panama? That's awesome! Did you have a good time? I'd love to go there, and I would especially give anything to see the rainforest... but China and Japan!? I can't even describe how jealous I am! I absolutely love to travel, but flying really scares me, so I'm pretty much stuck on this continent for the foreseeable future. Not to mention the cost of a trip like that! What an amazing summer you're going to have!
What did you think of The World God Only Knows? I've always been kind of torn about it. I guess I liked it overall, it has some good humor and fun characters, but it's also kind of forgettable in a lot of ways. The third season ended just as the story was starting to get really good though, so I'm definitely hoping for a 4th.
The only anime I've watched lately is the ongoing stuff I'm following. I'm trying to catch up on everything as fast as I can, since the summer season will be starting in less than a month. This season, Baby Steps, Haikyuu, and Isshuukan Friends have been my favorite new anime, and the second seasons of Mushishi and Love Live have been great too. Especially Mushishi, it had been so long since I saw the first season that I forgot just how fantastic it really is.

Everything has been great for me lately, just busy. I just got back from Florida a few days ago. This is the one time of year that Pennsylvania actually has much nicer weather than Florida does. It was starting to get way too hot there!

I never really played the Final Fantasy games, save for a bit of FF10, they never seemed that interesting to me
I did make my own PC, it tends to run most everything I've put on it so far
