I loved the plot and the animation itself is great, got lots of violence and humor too. It's the terrible storytelling and characters along with the dub and sub which spoiled the experience.

The setting is a medieval fantasy world with elves, dwarves, orcs, humans, and dragons. There is a war going on between the humans and the rest of the species. The twist is famous personalities with military background from earth are transferred there after their death, these guys are called Drifters. It's interesting to see how these famous people change the world around them with life-giving them a second chance. Facing them are read more

Sekirei (Anime) add (All reviews)
Sekirei can kind of be summed up with "Highlander with Fan Service". However, that really wouldn't do it justice, since it's so much more than a typical harem or another "There Can Be Only One" story. It centers around Minato Sahashi who, after having a beautiful girl LITERALLY fall into his life, discover that he is an Ashikabi, the destined partner of this girl and others like her known as Sekirei.

Minato himself is the best male lead for a harem anime you could ask for. While being physically weak and having a tendency to crumple under pressure, he is very likable and doesn't fall to read more

The first few episodes of this show were ecchi comedy gold.
It started up a really solid dynamic where the leading male is an unapologetic pervert and the back and forth with his 'childhood friend' was perfect. Ep 2's ending song video is worthy of a classic.
But after a while, the episodes stopped being anywhere near as imaginative. It was still decent ecchi entertainment, but just nowhere near as inspired.

Definitely watch this if you're an ecchi fan, and plow right into the OVA and season 2. I didn't bother with the movie, though. Heard some bad things about it.

High school DXD is one of the best anime has a great story line as well as with some great characters. It is an anime with a lot of nudity and boobs but it clearly doesn't mean that it lack in content.Issei the protagonist of the show is one of the most hilarious character. He can make u laugh even in the most intense scenes you can think of.The show is somewhat related to mythology as well as it's about the three factions present in the world the devil's,fallen angels and Angels.

The reason this show is loved by so many people is cause it attracts people in read more

I got into Darker Than Black because of its creators- Tensai Okamura has made some real nice works before, notably Wolf's Rain. In that series, he also worked with Yoko Kanno, the composer of some of the best soundtracks I have heard in my life, most importantly Cowboy Bebop. However, this series isn't as good as those mentioned earlier, but it is still good.

The problem with DTB is that it starts bad. It's just confusing, we don't know what's going on and we don't know the characters, so it's hard to care about them. Not only that- what I expected that would save the series, read more

Preliminary
This anime is great and i like main hero,if you want long running anime this one is great and funny and if you like long running stories then you must watch. I recommend you to watch this anime once you will become fan.

I wonder why its rating is so low. It should be 8.5 plus. Its not a copy of Naruto. Based on very different theme ie magic, a world where magic is everything and a guy named asta has none and all he has is his hard work towards achieving his goal.

It's undoubtedly one of the best anime I've watched. I loved every read more

It covers both Season 1 and Season 2.

Another surprising tv series from japan and this is a goodie. It grabs you from episode one and for the bulk of season one you are always wanted to find out what happens. The character development is good, so you begin to care for the princess and the various JSDF troops involved. The only issue is by season two it becomes a bit too predictable, as well as have a number of good characters missing. Apart from that there are a number of simple things which could be done to put the tension back into the show, but read more

Promising but not a finished article.

Violence is the name of the game for this anime.

But like a lot of anime the violence is only part of this entertaining show. The action is fast paced and the plot is simple and easy to follow. the characters are quite well developed and you do have some feeling when they eventually die or come to harm. There aren't too many huge plot twists like in a lot of other anime.

The only gripes I have are that i don't really like reading subtitles so i like English dubbed anime and they always use the same crappy voice actors. read more

So, this show is about pretty fun (not overly cool) fight scenes, a little bit about helping other people, and a lot about the love between the two main characters.

I was actually moved by the love Shu and Inori had--and I don't think I've ever been moved by a show, movie, or anime's love bond, but theirs was just something special.

The show is short; yet, it is easily just one of my favorites and I'll always keep it in my collection for another go-around in the future. I will say, while the last 11 episodes are packed with more action, the first 11 episodes are read more
