interesting, i definitely need to check this one out. recently i have been trying to get into works with layers to peel back. i guess contemplative shows really just pique my curiosity.

i've also heard a great deal of utena praise. the late 90s shoujo animation style is very appealing to me, but i cannot say i am a huge shoujo fan when it comes to the content typically portrayed in these stories. also you touched on your enjoyment of hearing others perspectives on the show and that makes me all the more excited. hearing different takes on media i enjoy feels rewarding in a way.
