I started reading manga in September 2016 and started watching anime in December 2016.
I don't keep track of re-watches, but I do sometimes re-watch stuff.
Favorite yuri ships in anime:
1. Kyoko x Sayaka (Madoka Magica)
2. Eila x Sanya (Strike Witches)
3. Fate x Nanoha (Lyrical Nanoha)
4. Madoka x Homura (Madoka Magica)
5. Sena x Yozora (Haganai)
How I rate with the 1-10 scale:
Since everyone uses the 1-10 scale differently, I have chosen to equate each number on the 1-10 scale with a grade of A+ to F to make it more clear on where I stand with each rating. I like to make use of the full scale and I prefer for my higher ratings to be increasingly exclusive so that they actually mean something. I also tend to focus on the positive for the majority of my scores, only ratings 1-3 can be seen as decisively negative.
10. (A+) Untouchable favorites that are absolutely incredible in virtually every major aspect and blew my mind multiple times throughout the experience or resonated with me on an exceptionally deep level.
9. (A) A score for masterpieces and/or anime that I have a strong personal love for that left a tremendous impact on me and were exceptional in more ways than one.
8. (A- or B+) This is the cut-off point for what I like to think of as the elite-tier of anime. Shows with this rating accomplished something significant, are a joy to watch, and set the bar for other anime.
7. (B) Great anime that are a substantial cut above what I would consider average. While not the absolute best, I still felt they were a very worthwhile experience. Most of these are still classics I would consider revisiting.
6. (B- or C+) This is a score for good anime. I can still say with certainty that these provided me with something enjoyable or unique enough to be considered above average and were worth watching. They have their issues, but my enjoyment isn't too heavily hampered most of the time and even if it is, it pays off more than enough at the good points.
5. (C) Average, decent, or okay anime. A competently put together show with some notable good points that can be enjoyed if I'm in the right mood. However, it usually comes with a few issues I have criticism for and may be boring occasionally. There's usually at least one or two characters or aspects of the show that make me want to watch it and I'd say my 5s generally fall under the "I kinda like it" category.
4. (C- or D+) Mediocre, but I still might watch it if I'm really bored. I don't consider shows with this score to be outright bad, just below average. I might enjoy parts of these shows and occasionally I will award a 4 to an objectively awful show that I managed to still enjoy (Infinite Stratos 2 for example). However, a 4 usually means I was pretty indifferent to the show and while enjoyable moments were present on occasion, I was bored more often than not.
3. (D or D-) Bad but watchable, though not worth the time in my opinion. It's not devoid of redeeming qualities and it isn't absolutely horrible but the negatives outweigh the positives quite decisively for me. Or an anime with this score just failed to appeal to me or engage me in an interesting way but still deserves credit where it's due for doing a few things objectively well.
2. (F) Very bad to terrible. Lots of bad points prevent me from enjoying it. These shows are usually pretty awful but have minimal redeeming qualities. They are either incredibly boring most of the time or have a lot of aspects (story, characters, etc.) that suck or are unlikable. However, they still do enough to separate themselves from the absolute worst which is why they aren't quite 1s.
1. (F) Pathetic garbage. A trash attempt at making an anime. It's hard to believe someone actually tried when making this. The only enjoyment I can have is pointing out how bad it is.
My scores are reflective of my opinions and are subject to change as I watch and read more anime and manga and my perspectives change. I also don't mean to hate on things other enjoy. My reviews and scores are my opinions only, so be nice.
I do rate a lot of my dropped anime. If I'm sufficiently bored or otherwise turned off before I can even finish the series, it deserves the rating it gets in my eyes. Dropped anime rarely get rated higher than 4 unless it was a really long series I dropped after 50+ episodes or something.
Favorites System: Favorite anime are listed in order with the one at the top being my number one favorite. Same goes for characters (sort of) but all of those except the top 2 or 3 tend to change somewhat often. There's a lot of characters I love that aren't on my favorites list and I try to spread the love around as much as I can by only having one character per series favorited.
Things I like/enjoy:
-Metal music; especially Black Metal, Death Metal, and Thrash Metal
-Anime/Manga
-Watching NFL Football/the Dallas Cowboys
-Sudoku
