You must have a super busy life to not have a chance to finish Smashing Anthems, I typically listen to Nana Mizuki on my way to work, since its like a 15 minute drive, I always get a few songs in. My favorite song from Smashing Anthems is the 6th song, "Lazy Syndrome", currently my number 1 now. But its really a 4 way tie between my other top favorites from previous albums. But I just really, really love that song right now. My second favorite song from Smashing Anthems is "Bracelet", that song rose through my ranks like crazy. That is usually the case for me when it comes to Nana Mizuki's music, the songs just grow on you exponentially.

Anyways though, if you haven't seen my club post yet, she's already coming out with a new album. I can't believe she already has a new album coming out. I'm still just casually listening to Smashing Anthems here and there, I do listen to all her albums but I like to keep up to date with her current songs. Then I mostly just listen to my top 50 list of her music generally when I just want to listen to my favorite singer of all time.

Wow, you attended Nana Mizuki's concert? That would be like an ultimate dream goal of mine. I still listen to her music daily. But yeah, I don't really go on MAL much anymore, only time I do is just to add the anime I'm watching or when I complete them. The only anime I'm watching right now is just DragonBall Super lol. I did watch a few animes last season but most of the reasons why I'm not watching much right now is because I'm pretty preoccupied with other things that I want to do instead.

Oh hey. :)

Yeah the production quality for Vivid is a little low. x_x But I'm still excited to watch it though since this is one of the first times I read the manga before it being animated, so this will be interesting.

I still haven't compiled my top 77 favorites for Nana Mizuki, sort of can't right now since my computer can't read my Ipod for some reason lol. But ELISA's 4th album has came into the mail and wow, I am so impressed by her singing. I mean after all these years of waiting she still has amazing singing style voice and I think I could say her 4th album is my very favorite out all of hers. Take a listen to a couple of her music videos here that I linked that pretty nice sounding: Sobani Iruyo and Realism. But this song is my second favorite from the album: Shout My Heart and Story Of My Love, just hit play I think but that is my very favorite from her new album, easily one of my very top 3 songs out of all of her music. <3 I just love, love the intro to Story of my Love.

Ah. That does tend to require a lot of adjustment, to say the least. Anyway, it's nice to hear that things are looking up. Hopefully you'll get to spend more time on your hobbies as time goes on. : )

SilentTruth Apr 23, 2015 4:57 AM
You and your ratings. I swear you set the bar too high XD
SilentTruth Apr 22, 2015 6:35 AM
that's her character, not the series silly XD well I'm still going to watch anyway, don't care too much about silly opinion
SilentTruth Apr 21, 2015 5:55 AM
Wow, Vivid in D rank? Not enough love for Fate eh? XDD
Soge_king999 Apr 14, 2015 7:05 AM
It really has been a very long time. I'm great myself. How about you?

Not really. I don't frankly watch too much anime nowadays in general. My focus and preference is presently film, so I'm tending more towards spending my free time on them.
Killuan Apr 12, 2015 2:37 PM
I'll prolly lose interest with it as well once VIvid shift towards the tournament arc and is just a bunch of characters I don't know and fanservice of them I don't care for.
Killuan Apr 12, 2015 1:30 PM
Yeah I don't mind. Feito-love needs to be shared. XD
Killuan Apr 12, 2015 10:19 AM
Is Vivid still D tier for you after last episode? XD
EtherSword Jan 18, 2015 9:00 AM
Lol, I didn't even think of all those coincidences. xD I should go back and look up every single song that is in the 7th order. But hey, at least on my side, that song turned out to be one of my favorites. :p Speaking live performances, I decided to buy the Live Flight DVD. I'm going to post you my top 34. I think I could to a top 77, it will take some work though lol.

I would say at least 85% of my top 34 is accurate, still got to listen through it a lot lol.

ELISA has recently came out with her 4th album, I've already ordered for it and I'm waiting for it to come in the mail. Can't wait for it lol. But anyways, I'm not entirely sure how popular Nana is in the West. You see, there's been idol groups that have done concerts in America a few times, I been to one of them and it was amazing experience for us and for the members but yeah. It might be different for a solo singer though.

Oh, I watched the first season of Valvrave but I didn't like the anime enough to start the second season. And you know, the most funny thing about it, Nana Mizuki does the opening song and ELISA does the ending song but the anime wasn't too my standards lol. xD So I had an unfortunate coincidence with that for them lol. Yes, when I heard Vivid announced, I was so happy, I can't wait for it so much.

No problem, I'm much worse when it comes to replying people on time lol. xD

I see what you mean for FATE, the song itself is a bit simple but for me it gives off a very passionate vibe with her singing in it. The song is very direct to the listener and passionate, if that makes sense. xD I guess for me and you, while you like the beginning part of the album more, I like more of the end part instead lol. xD But I like all of her songs in that album anyways though, I didn't feel like any part of the album was significantly better at different ends. I do agree the beginning songs were a bit more riskier (in a good way) and for the songs later were a bit more simple even though FATE and Million Ways are one of my favorites. All in all, Supernal Liberty made me love Nana Mizuki much more, so I'm really happy about the album, its at least my 3rd favorite album of her 10 albums. xD

Yeah, like FATE, Inside of Mind is also very direct, not sure if I'm using the right words. But basically her singing in those 2 songs are intended for us listeners and that they are the type of songs to where I think Nana Mizuki wants us to grow to love her more. xD But that's what I feel from Inside of Mind very much, I actually raised its rankings a little bit too since then. xD Speaking of rankings, I have a top 34, I use to have a top 80+ but that just too many favorites so I had dwindle it down since Supernal Liberty came out and redo it in only having 3 songs from each album, for most part. 3 x 10 doesn't = 34 since I had to add more for EPs and Impact Exciter lol. xD

Well, I'm willing to throw down more money with Nana Mizuki, I sort of just want to collect more of her merchandise, so that's something I will do in the future. I don't think I have the space for all of her stuff though lol.

Well, yes, the first season of Higurashi was pretty ugly lol. xD But the second season, the animation is a lot better in quality and color. But if you already read the manga, that won't matter much unless you want to see the series animated despite already knowing the outcomes. xD The plot and Rika, is one of the main reasons why Higurashi is one of my top favorites lol.

I see, I actually mostly listen to my favorite singers while I'm driving to work or if I'm not watching any animes, etc. Yeah, her Railgun songs are one of starts of why I started paying more attention to her but funnily enough, her Railgun songs are not high on my list in terms of favorites. xD

I haven't watched much Jdrama recently either, but I actually like Jdrama more than anime, just harder to find series that I like in Jdrama.

Well, that would make sense for me since I'm 28. I always feel like Nana Mizuki isn't popular enough, its like she is well known as a singer but I don't think she gets enough credit either. But I wouldn't really know since finding stuff about Nana Mizuki is hard since she doesn't go out of her way to appeal to her foreigner fans like some idols do. I don't even know if Nana Mizuki is aware that she has a fanbase outside of Japan that aren't local to Asia. xD Heh, that explains why then for us then in MAL. xD Oh, I love Cross Ange, I was late in starting that because I wasn't even aware of it but that series is really funny since it doesn't take itself seriously with some of the over the top things in it but it actually turning out to be a pretty solid series with some of the twists that have happen and how some of characters that developed like with Yukari Tamura's character Hilda, and we almost have a NanohaxFate relationship once again. xD It makes me wonder how familiar Nana and Yukari are with each other. xD But yeah, about time they give Nana Mizuki a role as significant as this and with her singing to boot. Last time we did have Symphogear series but Nana Mizuki skills as a VA and singer weren't fully utilized imo. But yeah, I'll reply again for when you reply or when I have something Nana Mizuki related to talk about. xD I also think I should send you a friend request. xD
EtherSword Dec 27, 2014 4:11 PM
Yeah, I don't think I ever will get a chance to see Nana live. When you mean older songs, you mean like her first albums? I discovered Nana Mizuki through anime, it was the second season opening song of Rosario + Vampire. I wish I knew her way before then, I like every single song of hers.

I see for Koi no Yokushiryoku. xD I agree very much about the epic songs and how they bring out her best in her. That's why I felt like it was close for Supernal Liberty to be my favorite album of hers because I feel like a lot of her songs in it showed her experience and range as a singer, it was like she just keeps getting better and better with each album. The only reason why Supernal isn't my favorite because Impact Exciter has more of my type of songs. xD Oh, I forgot to mention my top 20 is incomplete because of Supernal Liberty (in fact top 20 is too little for me for all of her songs I love lol), I haven't taken account of its songs into my top 20 but my 3 favorite songs so far from Supernal is: Million ways = One Destination | FATE | Where (4th song in album). FATE is likely my very favorite. What about you?

So you haven't heard the songs JUMP!, The Place of Happiness or Inside of Mind? Inside of Mind is from the Eternal Blaze EP cd case thing, not in any Albums. xD Yeah, I was impressed Deep Sea was also placed high on your list, I normally see a lot of people with similar favorites but not much of her older or newer music, just one steady time period of what she sang at the time lol, I guess that's maybe when they discovered her? Oh well, but anyways looks like you've seen a lot of her lives, I can't find them anyone on youtube or just google in general. I'm going to buy her live concert albums cause hearing her live is so good too, she seriously can sing live.

That's good to hear for Hana Kana and Itou Kanae even though I don't see them on your top list. xD Yes, Higurashi is great, I highly doubt that will ever drop down from one of my top 5 favorite animes. Whoa, you also enjoy ELISA too? :O Oh, you got to listen to all 3 of her original albums, I'll tell you my top 10 songs in terms of my very favorites. 1. Shining Wind youtube link get! (my comment is still down there too), 2. Waterland (you probably will like this one the most maybe), 3. God Only Knows (you probably heard it before but its what really got me into her), 4. Absolute Perfection (what lovely song title), 5. euphoric field, 6. Toki no Meikyuu, 7. Kikai Jikake no Cinderella, 8. Light to Unite, 9. Shinjitsu no Akashi, 10. Scarlet Wings. But yeah, the 3 albums are White Pulsation, Rouge Adolescence and Lasei. I don't have a favorite album, she really needs to put out more music, her singing voice is so gentle and angelic. There is no one like her. That being said, I like Nana Mizuki more still to keep that in mind lol. xD Hearing Aragaki Yui here alone on MAL just makes me happy, while I don't actually listen to any of her music that she has put out, I do love her as an actress a lot, pretty much any show she is in, its one of my favorite Jdramas lol. But if she has put out an album, I could take a listen to what she is capable of. xD

Unfortunately I was the late one in terms of replying but hearing everything said was very interesting, very glad to learn more about other Nana Mizuki fans and that you also have an interest in ELISA. xD And Aragaki Yui. xD Most of the Nana Mizuki fans I've come across are kind of the lukewarm type (on Nana Mizuki forums) that I don't want to be around with but the ones I've talked to so far on MAL have been way better interesting enough lol.
