Both anime have the same artistic style. Characters are similar: Tatsuya looks like Lelouch, one supporting character looks like Suzaku. Tatsuya and Lelouch both have a hidden identity, and both have genius intellect. Both anime have magic. Both have characters that have ambitions to change things in the world they live in. Both main characters have a loving, caring, and 'beautiful' sister that they are fond of.
