I'll make this review short:
- Are you looking for ecchi but not R+?
- Are you looking for good, short, very well animated swordfights?
- Are you looking for a harem where the MC actually CHOOSES a girl
- Are you looking for a romance where the MC isn't a blockhead and can take most of the hints his lover sends to him?
If your answer was yes to most or all of these questions, I highly recommend you to watch Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry.
I will say that this anime is full of cliche moments when it comes to ecchi and romance, but it's great nonetheless imo.
is about a guy trying to prove that even though he wasn't born with any special abilities like the rest of his family he can still succeed with hard work.
Basically Rock Lee (if you watched Naruto). Pretty damn cliche.
The fights are very well animated and most of the time everything is bright and nice, giving a good feeling to your eyes.
this was written before the 2 last episodes, which describe the situations really well, but bring a really dark theme to the show.
I really like the OP song. The rest of the soundtrack and background music is pretty average, nothing really special.
I didn't like the ending song because it doesn't bind well with the ending of episodes which are mostly dramatic IMO.
I really like the MC because even though this show has a harem feeling, he chooses a girl, which is really important for me when I watch these kind of shows.
Not much else to say because I feel like the only character with actual plot development is the MC and the rest of the characters just follow him.
I like animes where the MC chooses a girl and the anime is a lot about their relationship and them advancing it, and the battles are pretty thrilling even though the outcome is usually pretty obvious.
A short, good anime.
If you expect a melodrama, you won't get it. But there are some episodes that do trigger feels just a bit.
