I don’t even like football much but this anime is so good, i’m even reading the manga now!. I was hooked from the first episode, i was not aware of the hype and thought it would be a standard football anime but is totally different from others. Is like a ‘survival’ game within the game.
The concept is interesting, the animation is amazing, great soundtrack and the characters are all nuts and over the top - i love them! never a dull moment.
I sincerely recommend people watch this and disregard the haters, the show delivers what it says in the tin, enjoy!!!

Expectations can be a terrible thing..
This show had so much hype but honestly i was rather disappointed. The first episode sets a great premise, with Loid as a spy on a mission, but it just goes downhill from there, when the story starts to centre around the kid, Anya> She has to be one of the most annoying characters i have come across in a while so she contributed to the decline on the enjoyment of watching this. The initial story theme seems interesting but you’ll end up watching an anime about a little girls days at school. The arr and animation is good at least so ...

This was a pretty good season, which has left us some little gifts like SK8. Nice and compact 12 episodes, thoroughly enjoyable and fun to watch.
I’ll keep this short and sweet so you can spend the time doing something more amusing like watching this series ;). 1. Story mixed of good comedy and, actually, plenty of drama - checked. 2. Pretty great animation overall, particularly awesome on action skating scenes - checked. 3. Excellent OST throughout, including op (the best) and ed - checked. 4. As a big fan of the novel, the manhua and the donghua, this episode was ‘Heaven’s blessing’ in and on itself.
It was so satisfying and such perfect ending for this season, and, at the same time, is also a new beginning that leaves you feeling desperate for the second season. To finally see the MCs facing and interacting with each other, with the best of the best of the soundtrack, playing in the background, was priceless. And, to finally see ‘that’ face, in particular, was an unexpected and amazing surprise, i must have played that part in repeat 10 times already. Looking forward to english sub ...

Outstanding, beginning to end. A pity that the end came so soon!, i seriously hope we get more seasons on this.
When i started watching this, i did not realise that it was from MXTX, the same author as another of my favourite donhuas MDZS - shame on me!. I had not read the novel prior, but i have now, and cannot wait for more of this beautiful animation to come back. And really looking forward to the extra episode in February. I really like this historical, action type of anime, and was highly recommended to watch this, so i was really looking forward to it. Also, seeing the high scores here got me really hyped.....and maybe that was the issue, the higher your expectations, the higher the disappointment when they are not met.
This was particularly frustrating as i really liked the story, is engaging, and has all the right ingredients for an entertaining watch.
