I begin by apologizing because English is not my native language, so excuse the mistakes.
Kuzu no Honkai has a serious theme being addressed, the sentimental and sexual discovery of several characters. The big problem was being appealion and unrealistic. I believe that this was the author's intention, since it is normal for Westerners to have fetishes for characters of animes living in embarrassing situations but ... some situations border on ridicule. With the exclusion of the protagonist, all the characters are extremely extereotipados which makes very clear the reasons behind each action eliminating the chances of good twists.
Story (3) : History has a rich theme
to be addressed if it were not treated with so much exaggeration and unreality.
Art (7) : Good Character Design and ambientation.
Sound (5) : Decent.
Character (1) : Here I am going to do my editing. These are not just stereotypes. The protagonist is really empty. No matter how much the plot attempts to push feelings, she simply does not match. It becomes comic as every drama boils down to an ending in sex. There are no reasons, background or a simple explanation. She is sad and so will make sex with the first camel to appear.
As for the other characters I have to say, the teacher (woman) is all that saves the plot. She has a background story infinitely better than the story told to the protagonist even being addressed in so few episodes. All other characters I keep what I said, are just stereotyped versions of other anime.
Enjoyment (1) : Very painful to watch this work until the end. Still I believe that many watch waiting for the best, a cliché ending where everything ends well. But I fear the turnaround will be even more disappointing than anything that has ever been shown.
I will check this review after the conclusion of the anime to see if I paid the language or hit the author's intentions.
