I see. In the case of the 15 time disaster, I watched it 2 weeks apart for like the first 10 times. As for the childhood thing, anime for me came and went all at once.

Well, let's put that aside for now. My point isn't so much time as it is that my record of 15 times had my feelings towards the anime turn to hate by the 15th time. I can't imagine someone reaching 20 times on anything without growing to hate the series.

Side notes:
- I consider myself more of an anime re-watcher than an anime watcher, because at least 90% of the time I'm re-watching a series instead of watching something new.
- Why won't MAL let me sort by number of re-watches, that's so unfair.

I find it hard to believe that you've watched Dragon Ball Z 27 times. My record is 15 times and that was a movie.
