Emo is the best word I can describe this show with.
Story: Alright so the story goes with the whole “I need my revenge” plot, except the once the deed is done our main character (Ciel), who made a pact with his butler Sebastian who is a demon, will have his soul taken by said butler. Honestly the show was nothing but sad and depressing moments. If your into this kind of stuff then this is right for you.
Characters:
Ciel: I could not stand this little puk, I mean he is a prideful emo kid who the writers tried to give a
...
heart change in the end but it just did not work.
Sebastian: alright he a good butler and I won’t lie. He is a calm person who has skills but still does not add much to the story.
Everyone else: not memorable
P.S Season 2 is not worth watching since undid the ending of season 1.

Okay this was just a bland show.
Story: where to start, ah, I the idea of the school is for magic weapon users and...I can't really think of anything else to say. the plot is going for an underdog tale and how he shows that he is not a loser. I am usually all into these stories but the writers some how messed that up. nothing was really exciting for the characters did not feel interesting enough for me to care for. The 1st episode was just full of anime trops: waling in on senpai changing, tsundere getting mad about it, then the tsundere getting
...
red for the guy said something nice. I was just at aw of how that could happen so early. But wait there's more, after the 1st episode the MC (Ikki) and the main female lead (Stella) already have feelings for each other. The show felt rushed and under developed.
Characters:
Ikki: Our Hero, MC, Underdog, and a generic nice guy. He is okay but his power is so lazy. I swear it was just a an ability to copy someone else's ability, well to a degree. This felt so cheap. He was not OP in anyway, just cheap. how he acts is bland and I was not sure what his goal was. He could have been much more if 1: his power was not "Copy and Paste" and 2: if he had a real personality.
Stella: She was okay and could have been better. the show never gives any real background on her which is strange. she gets her butt kicked in the 1st episode by Ikki like it was nothing. She was assumed to be strong but due to a cheap shot she was made to look like a weakling. her romance with Ikki was just sad. it was not handled well.
Everyone Else: Meh. Ikki and Stella's main friends consisted of some feminine guy and Ikki's sister who had a brother complex (the bad one).

Once again an anime put in a spot where he is made to be the bad guy, not bad if the writers can know how to handle it from there. Did they, nope.
Story: The intro was fairly good introducing the art which was good. It felt colorful and slick. Meeting the MC (Akuto) and one of his harem girls (Junko) was delivered well enough. After that, getting to the school and finding out Akuto’s dream was ruined and then everyone in the school hatting him was so lovely. I had hope things would play out well and the others get over it. However, things
...
quickly escalated I got so lost with how the plot was all over the place; Introducing characters in weird ways, resolving problems abruptly, and personality changes.
Characters:
Akuto: Starting off as a likeable guy I was hoping he’d end off being cool. Slowly through the show he had a major personality change and that was not so great.
Junko: My fav of the harem, but was just a not so well developed tsundere.
Everyone Else: Just off at moments and I did not care for them that much. I not saying the’re bad, but just not interesting.

This is an infamous anime for certain reasons and I got over that fact pretty quickly. Now be forewarned this show is heavy on suggestive themes, so if watched make sure you are in a safe room/area to watch it in.
Story: At first I was all into the story, but it ended up hitting a point in the show where I just lost a lot of respect for the shows plot, well for what plot it had. I enjoyed the action scenes very much. However this show is just really nothing but nudity, I mean really. I had to skip over most of the ecchi
...
stuff for it just got out of hand. I finished all the seasons for I was wanted to see a certain fight.
Characters:
Issei: Our MC who has a strange goal of getting a certain title. I like him to a certain degree, but his drive for fighting at times is just weird.
The Harem: They just throw themselves at him constantly. They have their own personalities and don’t think about him 24/7 which is good. My fav of the girls is Akeno for she is the best looking and her personality backs it up. I thought she had the most going for her in a relatable background and I remember an episode where she and Issei went on what considered a real date.
Everyone Else: Good personalities that make them memorable.

This was just a simple show which is okay but in this case boring. I made it to the end but that is not saying much.
Story: A simple plot of beat the bad guys and make sure they do not get into the real world, easy right? However, the characters did not make it seem like it was that important and were more concerned with drama in the real world. Since there were only 10 or 11 characters that were really shown I did not really care about keeping track of names. The fight scenes were lazy. The transformations into their outfits were the same
...
thing each time like it was just a copy and paste so the makers of the show could save on the animation budget. There was not much to keep track of for the show was that simple.
Characters:
Tomokazu: He was bland hand was just acted as if he really had nothing to care for, by that I mean responsibilities. He was a nice guy and cared for the people around him.
Mizuki: I liked her to a degree. She was Tomo’s main interest. She is the typical nice girl that feels the same way about Tomo.
Everyone Else: Bland/okay but not really worth paying much attention to.

Wow I never thought I would find an anime that I would give a 1/10. This was a trash show that I could not finish. Not because it was boring or just did not interest me, but it was just that bad.
Story: the concept was easy to fallow but the reason for why the plot happened was just like why? The idea of an over population of the earth in the future is a real Ecological idea, but how it came to be was just dumb. I only made it to the 4th episode and I gave up. Usually when I quit a show early
...
is due to lack of interest.
Characters:
Junta: Our MC is okay but he is lacking in so many areas and the writers gave him some weird hidden ability to make up for it. I did not hate the guy, actually I think he was the only person I liked.
Karin: A time traveler who gives most of plot. She was annoying for she constantly had to remind me of her dream which was kind of normal I guess.
Ami: Junta’s childhood friend and just annoying.
Everyone Else: I was not completely sure but they were useless.

Okay this was a show that I thought looked somewhat interesting and it was, well starting off it was. Since this has music as one of its genres I was still unsure, but hey YOLO. Anyway I got the general of the show before it started.
Story: It started off with two of the most cliché scenarios that could happen, running into senpai and accidently looking at a girl in the wrong area of her body, really? The originality is lacking, but I kept going. After that we are going into the house of our Male lead, Yuu. Nothing really happens aside from him dealing with
...
family. When he gets to school the next day he has to deal with the same stuff with senpai (Fukka). It’s as if the writers got in a loop. After that tsundere moment again Fukka gets a heart change the next day because Yuu just happened to tickets to a concert to her favorite singer. Honestly the mood swings in the show are so weird. So later on the idea of making band came in and I was just like nope. The romance in the how was the end factor. There is a love triangle and it was so obvious how it would end.
Characters:
Yuu: He is shy and quiet guy who loves twitter and does not have many friends. I like him for he actually does his best through the show to be a better him.
Fukka: The reason I stopped watching. She came off as a jerk and then as weird mood swings a times. She is selfish and the plot caters to her like crazy. It is abad thing when the name of the show is what ruins it.
Koyuki: She is the childhood friend of Yuu and I was rooting for her and Yuu, but Fukka said no to that. She is very werid when Yuu mentions Fukk a and does not try to listen to Yuu after he tries to defend himself. But still I like her better than Fukka.
Everyone Else: The others are pretty likable and don’t hinder the story or the quality of it.

Ah...a legendary anime about one of if not the most famous psycho girl ever, Mirai Nikki (Future Diary). If you have ever had a crazy ex in your life or have a stalker who has a crush on you, then this show might hit home a bit except there is a lot of killing in this show.
Story: The general jest of the show is being able to win a Grand Battle Royal and become the next god. The contestants are given a special tool that helps them survive and to outwit their enemies. This show gave wired feels the whole time. It was not the
...
best idea of a story but still kept me going for it felt the story did not really revolve around the battle but around Yuki’s “love” issue.
Characters:
Yuki: He is a major loser through the whole thing. He ticked me off on how he was such a wuss. He was a pointless in almost anything that happened.
Yuno Gasai: She is the definition of psycho gf and she is what is known as a Yandere, term meaning crazy violent “lover”. Yuno is the one who kept the show going for me. He reason for being so messed up was not all that great but was still interesting enough.
Everyone Else: Weird idiots.

Alright, I could go on about how this season is bad but I’m going to try to keep to the point. I watched the 2nd season for I thought the makers would have fixed what was broken but nope. There are 3 arcs in this season.
Story: Once again good concept but it is ruined due to the lack of how games work. I had no idea how a First Person Shooter (FPS) could be so terrible. The opening to the game, Gun Gale Online (GGO) looked good due to the art, but that did not say much. A new character named Shino is introduced and
...
she suffers from PTSD which makes her interesting, but not that much. Beforehand we see Kirito and Asuna have boring conversation in the real world which leads to a flash back of Kirito having an even more boring chat with some guy giving most of the plot. From what I understood it was just a rehash of the last season except the people who die are targeted and there are a lot of guns.
The next arc is just 2 or 3 episodes so I won’t waste my time with that and the final arc of the season is focused on Asuna and the “adventure” she has.
Characters:
Kirito: This time he is even more annoying for he gets gender bent version of himself and he is a god of this game as well. His ability to catch the bad guy in the end was just on a bunch of assumptions he had which is just lazy writing in how to make him better as a person. His personality has not changes much.
Shino: As mentioned she has PTSD from an incident when she was a kid and uses games to help which makes some sense. It does not change the idea of how she is just another girl to add to Kirito’s harem of bimbos who cannot keep their minds off of him for anything else. She is in the sniper clas and is pretty good but gets worse as she spends time with our “hero”.
The Villain: Once more they are terrible, although not as bad a season’s 1 arc 2nd villain.
Everyone Else: still coronas. However, there is one that I support and that is Asuna’s mom and there is a good reason why.
The Game of GGO: The way it functions is just terrible. I’ve played many FPSs before and this one I would never touch.

I did not like this at all. I gave SAO a 3/10 for it is not the worst thing I have seen.
Ill bust this down into 2 things , story and characters.
Story: the idea was a cool concept of using VR games to a new level and I always wondered what it would be like if VR games got to SAO level. However, This show ruined the idea quite well. When I started the show I thought it would be good, but when episode 3 hit I was just like nope. I decided to finish the season. The plot could have been really good if
...
the makers of the show had actually used fundamental elements of what MMORPGS go by. I never saw how Kirito leveled up and almost every episode the time span would jump so far into the future putting me at a loss of "Is this story trying to progress right?" It felt as if the story was more based around playing a game or living a fantasy rather than trying to get out alive. An example being around the newly found romance between kirito and his love interest. When the 2nd part of season one hit the story was worst for it did not have much on the line.
Characters (I'm only doing Kirito and Asuna everyone else is just as one body):
-Kirito might seem like a cool guy but I saw him as a narcissistic jerk who is a god at any game he touches. He proved this in the 2nd arc. I understood a bit more i in the 1st arc but still he is an op character that is not well balanced. His personality is not all that grand and really it is annoying. Doing the whole lone wolf thing just made look like he was too good for anyone. the overall feel of our "hero" is that he is just he is a op loser.
Asuna: I had respect for her at first for for she seemed to be just as strong as Kirito and was a respected leader. But, her character slowly started dying the more time she spent with Kirito. Going from strong fighter a near useless person was a not that great.
Everyone Else: Short and simple, they are a bunch of idiots just like our main male and female leads. They never really realized that the game was not a game, it was a death battle. But no they thought it was sunshine and lollipops. When the 2nd arc came you would think they would have the common sense to never put the nerve gear on ever again, instead do it without question.
In the end SAO is bad, but I've seen worse.
