I think you forget that Adachi almost killed Otomi in a car accident and that Harada of 'Touch', saved her by a hair.

Unfortunately, So is only the third Mc in 'Mix' and Adachi seems determined to develop the relationship between Touma and Otomi.

Thy're all alone, and, in 'Touch' you have the same scene for Tatsuya and Minami.

I remember that when I saw that scene the first time I thought 'Ok, these two like each other'.

Minami is like a 'second mom' for Tatsuya and a sister can be a sort of 'second mom' for brothers.

In the 'middle school' arc:

- Toma points out that he is the 'acquired brother' of Otomi

- Toma commits to getting good grades to prevent his friend from dating Otomi

With Mitsuru Adachi you must be able to read 'between sentences'.

Remember that in 'Mix' the hero is Toma and the heroine is Otomi.

I think the fact of mentioning it can help people, who don't know 'Touch', understand 'Mix' and try to read 'Touch'.
