No problem! What literature do you like? I have some of my favorites listed at the bottom of my profile. I have kind of odd taste in anime and manga. The fact that I'm a little older and my formative years were before MAL existed also probably contributes to this.
I personally found it more enjoyable than the original novel, which is probably blasphemous for me to say, but I loved the unique take it had on the classic revenge novel.
