Okay awesome!! I'll send out your card soon then! Enjoy time at home with your mother and family!

Here's the link! I use FB Messenger daily so yeah, it should work to talk more frequently!

Can't wait to have your card!!! <3 Happy Holidays!!!
KeigoAtobe007 Nov 26, 2017 7:10 PM
Hi! Definitely long time no see! The time just passes so quickly now!

Congratulations on being in your last year of college! and good luck on what happens next career-wise! It will feel overwhelming at times and maybe a bit scary 'cause it's a new chapter of your life, but I'm sure good things will come when you're doing what you love!

Haha, I'm working on Christmas cards now too! Time to get the international ones out. Is your address still the same one I've been mailing to? I'm in the same place as always!

I MISS YOU LOTS! I'm super active on Facebook and I check twitter daily (@kingatobekeigo). If you use twitter, please follow me! :D

News-wise: The high school marching band competed in four competitions this year and took 1st place in their school size at all of them, making it our first undefeated season in the five years we've done competitive marching band! It was a very awesome show this year and the students are awesome. The high school Symphony Band (that's the top band out of two) has been chosen as one of two bands to perform at a conference at the university I work at in April. It's really an honor to be chosen - they invite a different music composer each year to honor and the two bands picked will perform one song of that composer's plus other music that we choose. It's the 50th anniversary of the conference too! At the middle school, I'm teaching 6th grade percussion for the first time in additional to the 6th grade brass that I normally teach. My 6th year of teaching now - can you believe it? We have about 50 8th graders, 60 7th graders, and 92 6th graders, and I believe close to 100 at the high school.

Fandom-wise: I've just been keeping up with Haikyuu!! manga. Finished watching Boku no Hero Season 2 (what a good series!). Still need to finish watching Utapri Legend Star. Not doing much otherwise haha - it's been so hard to find time to watch or read anything! I play Fire Emblem: Heroes on mobile a lot because Fire Emblem has been my favorite game series since I was a child. When new things come out for Yuri!!! on Ice, Free!, Kuroshitsuji, Kuroko no Basuke, I'll get into those.

Cosplay-wise: Going to three big anime conventions each year (Katsucon, Anime Central, and Youmacon), and a few smaller ones for 1-2 days instead of 3-4. Still cosplaying and getting better at cosplay things. I just did Ignis from FFXV and three characters from the Persona 3, 4, and 5 because I wanted simpler outfits that were easy to walk around in. I'm going to be working on two bigger projects for the convention in February, but after that, I'm re-using as much as I can to save up some money.

Other than that, things with my boyfriend have been well! We've known each other for two years now and have been dating for about a year and a half! We also have two cockatiels that have lived at his apartment for over a month now. Their names are Vivi and Reyson.

Happy to hear from you! Let me know how you are doing! And don't forget to let me know if your address is the same! Love you <3

Wanted to say hello and see how things are going! Hope all is well <3

THANK YOU KHILLIAN!!!! I love you and hope that you are well! <3 <3 <3

I understand - it's hard to type a lot when you don't have your PC with you. I get into that mode on the phone while typing and I'm like "Arghhhhh why can't I type any faster and there is so much I want to say!" and then can't wait to get to my laptop to type.

HI! I didn't seem to get a notification for this and I am so sorry!!!
HAPPY VERY BELATED NEW YEAR!!!

I am relieved and happy to hear that you got my card! <3 MISS YOU LOTS FRIEND!!!!!
When did you send your card out? I haven't seen it arrive. There were some issues with mail sent to me from some other countries getting sent out in early December and not arriving until early Jan, which was a bit unusual.
Scathach Jan 11, 2017 10:21 AM
THANK YOUUUU!! AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU TOO :)
Haven't talked in ages! (I'm late as hell XD)
KeigoAtobe007 Dec 28, 2016 5:48 PM
Hello! I wanted to wish you a Merry Belated Christmas! Hope my card reached you in time this year!

Also still working on uploading photos from my trip to Japan and Vietnam, and I'll share links to those albums when they are there. Went from June 18-July 5. Very nice to meet family for the first time (grandpas, aunts, and uncles) and see my brother in Yokohama (he also flew back to the US in August to see the parents, me, and friends!). Plus I love traveling and culture and sampling food and everything. We went to temples, mountains, the beach, downtown Saigon, and farmland in Vietnam, and Tokyo, Yokohama, Sendai, Kyoto, Fukuoka, and Osaka in Japan (JR Pass for tourists saved us so much money for bullet trains). Highlight: After five lotteries over four months, we won tickets to a GRANRODEO concert and they were AMAZING!!!!! Sang a lot of my favorite songs over the nine years I've been following them, their two newest songs, and encored Can Do, which is just still my favorite favorite. We were also in the smallest venue of their tour set (most of them were arenas) so it was nice to be able to see the entire stage no matter where you were in the live house! Also saw Uta no Prince 5th Stage (it's the seiyuu event concert) and my top five seiyuu (Suwabe, Taniyama Kishou, Suzumura Kenichi, Miyano Mamoru, and Maeno Tomoaki) are in the series. The music from Utapri is just A+++

Hello!

Things are rolling along as usual! School started again last Tuesday so it's just busy busy busy, but good! Had two great weeks of band camp for my high school at the beginning of August and a great week of band camp at the end of the August for the university marching band. Otherwise just keeping busy with working out/volleyball, working on cosplay, working two jobs still, and teaching music lessons in the evenings I don't have the gym. Didn't do NaNoWriMo last year and it's been almost two years since I've written anything so I'm hoping to be able to finish up at least one project this upcoming November from the PoT/FE universe.

I hope my postcard made it to you! Hope things are well with you! How many years of uni do you have left?

Hello!

Just wanted to check if your mailing address is still the same? I never can remember when you are at university or at home. Hope all things are well! <3

Hellooooo!!!

Awwwwww GenMira foxes <3 Thank you so much!!! <3 <3

I got your cards a few days ago, but I have been super busy with band festival (we host one weekend of band festival, one of four different sites… also our concert band got I 's (highest rating out of five) from all four judges and your symphony band got I 's from the performance judges and a II in sight-reading because even though they played beautifully and musically, they kept playing in the wrong key and missing simple rhythms). Very proud of our high school bands. The two middle school bands will be performing at festival at a different school next weekend.

BUT YES THE CARDS!!! Such a pleasant surprise (the giant fold-out one was epically amazing) and you always find such neat cards to send. Thank you for the wonderful messages and wishes - you're such a good friend ;----; /hugs tightly

Good luck with school and best wishes until next time we chat :D

PS - Getting closer to uploading photos from Katsucon. Been using all of my spare time for Fire Emblem: Fates XDDDDD

In reply to Jan. 1 – You found the spoiler button!!! Hehe. You were scrolling through my tumblr page, right? (I haven’t updated Livejournal in so I’m going to assume my tumblr page). THANK YOU SO MUCH <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 I like to take pictures and share them because a lot of hard work goes into what I do and I also like taking pictures in general. Memories! The sports jerseys are not too expensive (so Haikyuu and popular KuroBasu ones, YowaPeda, Daiya, etc.). Suits and fancier things (or harder to find things) are pretty expensive. Since I have had one of my band parents help me learn how to sew on a few of the ones you can’t buy, it has kept costs lower. But then you add the wigs, which is like $20-$25 on eBay (I usually get ones for popular characters there because they’ll be pre-styledish and just need to be shortened usually), or $30-$40 from two US retailers I really like for better quality, having more room for your head (for some reason, ones from China are really small? And sometimes the hair isn’t thick.. like you can see through to your real hair?). And shoes too OTL Sorry to hear that things are really expensive for you!! T____T
Daichi is the reason I live haha. My dad gifted me with a customized license plate for my car so now it says Daichi hahahaha. /rolls away
ONE DAY YOU SHALL SEE MY DAICHI IN PERSON!!!! :D And it shall be a fantastic day!
lfkdja;fkjak;jf ;lasfkj and you think my Roy Mustang is perfect ;------; The wind outside on the river was an existence – it just moved the bangs and sides around so I made sure to put hairspray in it this time around just in case.

I love writing to you so much! I just need like an hour where I am actually sitting and not doing anything because I end up sharing a lot – oops hehe. Don’t worry that you don’t have nearly as much to share – I have several friends that are like “I went to school and it was a good day” – type people, but they really just like to listen. I just always have a variety of stuff going on so it feels like I can talk about anything. Hmmm… But anyways, you are super sweet too and I don’t know how long we’ve been friends anymore, but I really treasure our friendship!

THE SUWABE EXPERIENCE WAS THE BEST EXPERIENCE. (And I got not one, but two autographs – lucky, lucky!!!) His handwriting is very beautiful and basically so is all of him. HIS VOICE OMG. I know that I met him in September 2014 in Atlanta, but you’re right, I can still tell the story like it just happened yesterday. I was at Katsucon in Maryland last weekend (I will most DEFINITELY tell you more about it as soon as I can get some pictures up onto my tumblr, but it was the best con I have been to aside from ACen in Chicago, which was my first one and my nostalgia one to see my friends. The venue was beautiful, and it’s known as one of the best cosplay cons in the US, and so there were epic cosplays and tons of photographers around)… anyways, I ran into three people I met in Atlanta that did Haikyuu!! And I had joined their group and I was so happy to see them. And then I ran into two more that were working a booth that I had met in the Suwabe panel. And then my friend from Texas that I had made in the autograph line was rooming with me (she’s definitely one of my closest friends). So basically Suwabe united us all together???????

I also sound super scattered when I write to you. Sorry! XD

Have you gotten to the manga yet? I am two episodes behind, but current with the manga. Fire Emblem: Fates finally came out in America last Friday so I have been doing basically nothing but Fire Emblem lololol. Man I love that series. I am just trying to get to a point in the game on both routes where I have all the characters I want so I can figure out my plan and then slow down and get other things done that I should get done. Like uploading photos from Katsucon and replying to messages… I know Haikyuu!! Isn’t licensed in the US, but I’m sure Brazil has different licensing? So far, most anime episodes have been really accurate to manga! I think I guessed that your favorite was Kageyama since he is similar to other characters you like (I’m sorry to hear about your bad experience, but like you said, you learn from your past and move forward!)! But I figured Kuroo would be your favorite too. He’s my third favorite after Daichi and Suga. Kuroo’s great – you think initially he’s going to be a bit of a bad boy rebellious lazy captain, but it turns out he’s really smart and calculative and a bit troll-y. And hahah, agreed, he is hot. Yes yes – Oikawa and Iwaizumi are very Kise and Kasamatsu. They are a great ship for sure! I am definitely DaiSuga and KuroDai (I like their rivalry dynamic).

Don’t worry – I think most people get tired thinking about having to exercise! It is really hard to find motivation to be doing physical activity when it’s just easier to sit and play video games, read, surft the Internet, talk on the phone, etc. I know people that favor individual sports like tennis and golf and running because they just have to worry about themselves and how well they do whereas team sports, you rely on people to work together and sometimes drama and disagreements :/ College is a really tough time to squeeze in working out when you have lots of homework and other reasons that keep you from getting to the gym. /hugs My body is getting there (biceeeeeeeps and triceeeeeeeeps!!! And thighs and calves) but it is SO HARD to get abs because it means your stomach fat has to go away first. I eat generally really healthy too so it’s a slower progress to get fat to disappear. But the important thing is that I feel like I have made great progress in both muscle definition and volleyball \o/
Alright, gotta head to my next job!!! Next update from me – Katsucon! Where I wore 10 cosplays (nine from previous cons and one new) in 3.5 days hahaha :D
KeigoAtobe007 Feb 22, 2016 8:20 AM
So I thought I replied to part of your message a month or so ago, but then I don’t see it? Gomen, gomen!!! January-March is super duper busy OTL since school starts back up after the winter break and we’re gearing up for HS Solo and Ensemble (which happened on the first Sat of February), HS District Band Festival (there are four sites and we host this weekend), MS District Band Festival (we travel to a different school with 7th and 8th grade bands), and MS Solo and Ensemble (not until the 2nd Saturday of April, but all of the music had to be copied and we started pulling kids out towards the end of January). Whew.

So in reply to Nov. 28 – Hope you enjoyed your winter break! AND good luck with all of your schooling. Haikyuu!! 2nd season is almost there so you can see it soon!! Kuroshitsuji does have very wonderful art – I am definitely reading it and collecting the English volumes as they come out in stores.

Did you ever decide with your top 10? I only saw K: Missing Kings in Summer 2014 when it premiered at Anime Expo so I know who the characters are – just not anything about them lololololol. I remember deciding that Sarukhiko Fushimi was my favorite along with Kusanagi and Munakata :) The few cosplayers I have seen from K: Project were always Fushimi and Misaki. I heard the 2nd season of the anime was just not good at all so I’m glad you have been reading the novels and such to get a better feel for the series.
Hahahaha my Top 10 is super tough to change (so many characters) so I adjusted it to have one character from each series I really enjoy. So atm, Roy, Daichi, Atobe, Conrad, Makoto, Len, Kise, Frau, Usui, and Takishima. If I could add 10 more, it would most likely be Suga, Castor (07-Ghost), Hori (Gekkan Shoujo), Jinguji Ren (Uta no Prince), Hughes (FMA), Kiyoshi (KuroBasu), Sebastian Michaelis, Tatsumi (Yami no Matsuei), Natsume (Brothers Conflict), and Kamijou (Junjou Romantica).

Hi Khillian!!!!!

I am glad the card made it to you safely! I am sorry I haven't had any chance to respond (I can't believe it's been almost two months since your first reply). It's been a busy couple of weeks back at school and I fell behind on quite a few things and replying to things to. BUT I wanted to say HAPPY NEW YEAR to you too! I am happy that my Christmas card made it to you safely <3
