The artist is Samura Hiroaki and the manga is Blade of the Immortal. I'm a big fan of his work he really has a unique style.

I thought you were so amazed by Slam Dunk; was it disappointing?
Marrone Feb 23, 3:58 AM
Yeah I know it's good without even reading or watching it yet because the mangaka is Takehiko Inoue. His works are amazing. I will read the manga at one point as I've heard the anime is not a complete adaptation.

Eh you read part 7 of JoJo. I've put part 6 on-hold for 5 months now..... need to get back to reading JoJo.

Your profile pic is from Slam Dunk right? Still need to watch it someday

alright 0:50 got me, gonna buy this instantly

But seriously, I hate that this is console exclusive. I at least have to wait till I'm done with my summer job if I'm gonna buy a ps4 because money :[
cyaMAL Jan 16, 3:28 AM
I also wanna play Bloodborne but I'm not very eager to buy a whole console just because I'm interested in one single game rip

Your description sort of sounds like a Japanese GTA lol, but I'm sure it's vastly different. Anyway, sounds like a huge fucking game, how many hours does it last approximately if you intend to complete it to 100%?

Mushishi is one of the greats and your profile pic is from one of the very few sports anime that isn't just fujobait. So in my books you're already winning mate.

Surprisingly, yes. I got completely sucked into Dark Souls since December. Already finished my first playthrough and now I'm tackling NG+. I love the lore, the setting, the soundtrack, the bosses, the combat. It's really great and makes me consider picking up more games. Just looked up Yakuza. The game looks fun, the setting is pretty damn cool, but I'm not sure whether it's something I'd enjoy. What games would you compare it to?
cyaMAL Jan 9, 3:20 AM
Yeah it is, I feel like my mood and my perception of things change far too quickly, but I guess that's just another part of growing up

Oh I see, as far as I know it's even from the same original author. School is raping me right now, so much stuff to do, but once I've gotten over the busy parts of this term I'm sure I'll watch some stuff again

Oh dude same for me, until this day I haven't found an anime that made laugh as much as SD (except for Detroit Metal City). Inoue's sense of humor is fricking great and it really shows in the manga (in the anime too, Sakuragi's seiyuu raspy/scratchy voice is just perfect)
Hmmm as for me I watched the whole anime first, including the four movies, and then I proceeded to buy the manga and read it, and there's also the thing that Nationals (not really a spoiler lol, like you already know Shohoku is gonna make it to that stage) isn't animated and it's really a shame. One Nationals game takes EIGHT FULL VOLUMES to read and maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaann, it never gets boring, it's thrilling from beginning to end!
I recommend you do the same as I did, anime first, manga second. You'll see Takehiko's progression and evolution as an artist in the manga and the anime takes his final drawings for their characters designs to show in the series. It felt a little weird for me when reading and finding his early designs but in the end, it made me appreciate him more as a mangaka.

So glad to know you started watching Slam Dunk! The animation leaves much to desire but let me tell ya the manga is more fluid when it comes to movements (kinda ironic)

If Ichi the Killer is one of your favorites, then we, my friend ARE COMRADES!!!!!!!!!!!!! Heh Terra Formars got you covered bro, it has a good story to back it up.

Come to think of it, I haven't properly looked at your profile. Hmmm let's see.
