Kuro no Maou (Manga) add
Preliminary (367/? chp)
Considering this light novel has no reviews and it seems that basically no one has even heard of this, I feel like it needs a review.

Kuro no Maou is an Isekai light novel (I know how people think of Isekai but keep reading) that while having the basic components of Isekai, delves deep into a great dark fantasy story. Unlike many other Isekai stories Kuro no Maou goes through a lot of dark subjects both mentally and physically. Both the world and the characters are built with a lot of care and especially the main character (Kurono Maou) has many characteristics that are usually not ...

Well... That was bad.

The story was a rushed mess. I guess the main point is to advertise against littering, but mixing it with the story of becoming a tonttu makes it a mess (even though as a Finn, I enjoyed hearing them say the word tonttu). Adding the part about the littering felt really forced. I can understand that someone might start cleaning the beach when seeing litter on it, but the way he talked about littering was not natural. No one talks like that, that was just very badly made "Insert our agenda here" moment.

The artstyle looks nice, I liked it. Maybe a bit ...

There are so many negative reviews for Boruto, so I want to explain, why I like Boruto.

The story seems fairly similar to how Naruto started, but it has been going already for as long as the series has been airing. There has been many lighthearted storylines, but also multiple more serious ones and while it might sometimes feel like nothing is happening and there's no story to speak of, when thinking about all of the episodes, a lot has happened. The pacing is very slow time to time but the slowness + some action gives the story more of the feeling that the characters are ...

Detective Conan is an anime I've been obsessed about for some time already. The story in itself is mostly different cases of murder or other crime, rarely going back to the (main?) plot from where everything started with. Even then every single episode is entertaining and also very educational. All the episodes also make the watcher immediately start to think who could be the murderer this time. There is some parts of the story I don't really enjoy as much, like Detective boys (or shounen tantei-dan) but even that has gotten better.

It's difficult to say anything about the artstyle, because it has changed so much ...

Dr. Frost (Manga) add
Preliminary (121/258 chp)
This review is straight from me finishing the first 121 chapters of this manhwa that have been translated to English.

Story:
The story is a collection of cases of psychological consultation. All the cases were different with different outcomes and it can be very well seen that the author of this manhwa, Lee Jong-bum knows what he is doing. Also the story between cases about the main characters is very well written and interesting.
As someone, who has studied psychology (just basics in high school but still) I really loved to see familiar theories and experiments being part of the cases.

Art:
The art style is very similar to other ...

Vinland Saga (Anime) add
This is one of those series that starts great and gets even better when watching more episodes.

The story is pure awesomeness especially if you love vikings and other Nordic mythology like I do. You really can't guess what's going to happen or how the series is going to end before actually watching the whole thing.

The art is at the same time beautiful and extremely fitting to the style of the anime, same with the sounds, including both ending and opening. Can't be much better.

All the characters have interesting stories to them and they are all unique, especially the main characters. Thorfinn is maybe a bit ...

Let me say it right here: No matter what anyone else thinks, I think Assassins Pride is worth watching.

The primary story is fairly basic growth story of the main protagonist Melida Angel, but how the story is told and everything that happens around the main story is what makes the story good.

The art style is beautiful, even though it is pretty basic artstyle for anime at the moment. The color balance of the art works and even if the style is not unique, it still works and looks good, no problems with that. Same with the sounds, they work even if they are not ...
