It's really cool that we get to see Levi's backstory animated. This makes me want to buy the whole manga set "No Regrets".

I was wondering if you ever watched or plan on watching Shingeki no Kyojin: No Regrets, the one about Levi's backstory? It finished yesterday and it was pretty sad in Levi's case.

The setting is pretty different than from the anime if you haven't heard some things about it. Like it's on an island and they also got guns like RPGs. If their maneuver gear looks awesome when they use it and the action seems alright, I might watch it.
I don't remember ever watching a good live-action movie. They usually try too hard to replicate the anime.

Yeah, I really enjoyed everything about it. I just hate how the English dub messed up the titan's roar...sticking with subs as usual. I just wonder how the live-action movie is going to turn out.
