Welcome to the February Edition of the Autumn Rain Newsletter!
February is most known for one event: Valentine's Day. It is celebrated in many different ways around the world. In Japan, girls make or buy chocolate to give to the person they like and to friends and family. In America, it's usually the guys that buy flowers and/or chocolate for the person they like and take them on a date, but sometimes the girls do it instead. In Denmark, guys send white flowers (also known as snowdrops) to the girl they like, and young couples swap funny short poems or love notes, known as gaekkebrev. Does your country celebrate Valentine's Day? If so, how?

What happened last month?

We ended this past month with 455 members! Let's hope that number keeps growing~ o/

We made a new Discord server this past month, so we need Discord Moderators for it as well as regular members! We also have many other staff positions open at the moment, so come join us~ \o/

Staff Changes:
We have quite a few new staff members this month! The two authors of this letter, ElleGrace and Chian-chan, joined this month as the first and only members of the News Team. Elle is also a part-time card maker; you may have seen her cards around already~ ;)
In addition to the two of us, we have two new card makers (staresque and Puchihime), two new affiliators
(Kunii and Akariiii), and two new couriers, (Lolicon-sama2611 and Major_Gilbert) and two new discord moderators (-Sogeking- and VegetaBreigh).
Our club leader, AzureRikkai, is currently on an indefinite hiatus due to being busy with real life things. But don't worry, we on the staff team are keeping the club going for her while she's gone!

What's coming up this month?

We have two new events starting this month, not including this newsletter.
First, we will be starting Anime and Character of the Month polls! Make sure to stop by and vote for what and who you think should be the March Anime and Character of the Month.
