This is similar to getting past the first chapter in a game, and now having access to all your abilities, equipment slots and party members.

The 1K mark is what I consider to be the first real achievement. You've made it far enough to actually claim to be a YouTuber, as you have put in a substantial amount of time to create content and grow an audience. You might not have found your niche yet, but your content is consistent enough to begin attracting the kind of person who would enjoy your content, and this can guide you on how to approach future content.

In the NewTuber context, getting to this point is a dream for many who are under 100 subs, and I dare say that most impulsive NewTubers would give up far before getting to 1000 subs. You probably need a good idea of what you want to do, as you probably won't get here on the back of lazy content.

1K is also significant because your audience is likely more loyal to you, as you earned their subscription instead of "buying" cheap subs who don't watch your content. This is where positive interaction counts for a lot.

Teacher perspective: my school is over 1000 students, so this would be like speaking in front of an assembly. Not a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but looking at a thousand faces is intimidating for most people. That's something you should be proud of doing.

A day in life of this loser:

Wakes up after 1:30 pm, and will just start going on reddit, his "phone" games that he plays on computer, and just be a loser he is like usual. Goes to lostarkgame and baseball reddit everyday, and then will share some threads with another loser and spamming emotes and bad english with one another.

If he wakes up first, he might make some milk tea (didn't buy with his money), and doesn't make any food if I don't wake up before him. After that he just sits on his ass all day browsing reddit and play phone games until (once in a blue moon) his turn to cook dinner (while doing all of the above).

After dinner is his prime time, he'll begrudgingly go on his FAVORITE game Lost Ark, and whines about going on the game, but still does it since he LOVES his guildies (i'll explain more later). He starts the cycle of looking at party finder, takes picture for his discord buddy with the market prices, and will join discord to watch streams of other people playing the game since he LOVES the game a lot. Also watches YouTube videos of gameplay, why people quit the game, and even watching an autistic streamer as well.

This goes on from 6 pm ALL the way to 1 am EVERY SINGLE FKING DAY, and he'll be like poor me, another day of misery on the game (the day I'm typing this he got mad at his favorite guild master Skenchfest as well, shouting uncontrollably loud. Some of his favorite activities in game are: carrying people and selling runs, does his gorilla dailies, and just be a loser in general.

After that he'll go shower, and then goes on HYPERBEAM, where him and a few other losers will go share some videos and talk about what they did for the day. SPOILER ALERT: ALL OF THE LOSERS ACCOMPLISHED NOTHING, wasting their miserable lives playing a trash game that's gonna be dead in less than a year.

The day repeats and this loser does the same shit all over again, currently 5000 hours in 1 year and a half playing a game. Go touch some grass and pretend to learn LIVE2D animations more.

Plays lost ark all day everyday with skenchfest heyggy, remiturd, crazy mf that gifts him stuff and weirdos.
149.5 hours last 2 weeks as i'm typing this... fking get a life....????

Mark this day, 10/21/21 where the birthday boy got all his courage to talk to me again. He wants to apologize for this behavior and trying to make everything about himself. Blamed everything on POTS! Also claimed that he will earn get 10k by the end of the year, and wants to buy JIJEEN??? wtf is that? Also claims when we "run out" of money he will have money, maybe more than us :)! Is he implying hes not going to spend a dime??? in his fking dreams, he better start contribute NEXT time we buy stuff. Update: 08-03-21.
So last week 07-29~08/01 he earned $624. He wants to earn $3500 a month, but haven't done anything to show that. He literally went to work, and came back less than 2 hours and probably drove 2+ hours alone coming back and forth and woke me up at 9am. Now hes apparently asking about some truck driving lessons that will cost $3500 a month so he may be able to get $15000 a MONTH! 61 years old can't lift his own body weight but trying to work some truck job that will have initial investments! HE LOVESSSS spending stuff before seeing the outcome. MADE US change to verizon so he can work LYFT! BUY HIM SHOES SO HE Can work RESTAURANT! Too bad he gets bored 3 minute hotness and he will stop working cuz too tired! POISON WATER!! FELL IN BATHROOM SO BROKE HIS ARM(pinky in weird position) so he can QUIT AMERICAN RESTAURANT JOB! GAVE HIM $350 to work for 24 hours in a random ass job that he lived in someone's couch!
