Well, honestly, I feel pretty much the same as at the end of the first season.
I still have the same problem. It was no coincidence that the original was 52-episode long! I asked a few of my friends who had watched the new but the old one didn't and tell me what they didn't like. Almost all of them had the same answer:They don't understand exactly why the characters start to fall in love with each other.
Okay, let's leave this topic behind. Let's just say that the love part wasn't that bad. In fact, I say that it is acceptable, but a little incomplete
From
...
story point of view, they paid attention to the main storyline again and madd the more important parts. I have a bit of a mixed feeling about this, but I nod. There was nothing... Until the end.
Now I looked at the two last episodes of the old one and there is a pretty big difference. In the original, Aoyama is almost "died", Ichigo also almost died. And Deep Blue, Deep Blue's personality is a 90° difference between in the new one. In the new Deep Blue, isn't just TOTALLY cruel personality? Would he have made a deal with Icihigo? I don't know who's saying what I liked the the end of a new one.
Story: 10/6
The characters were good, I have no complaints. Kisshu has forever gotten the first place in my childhood crush lol. Lettuce was one of my favorit character, I had everything what I loved.
Characters: 10/7
It's not as good as the original, but as I wrote about the first season. If you want to watch Tokyo mew mew randomly, you just don't have time to watch 52 episodes, Then you should check it out

The Tokyo Mew Mew own a very important place in my heart, because this was my Sailor Moon when I was young.
I was always a big fan of it and in the nowdays I think still has the magic about in and has a great story.
That's why I wanted to watch it again, because a little nostalgia never hurts. But my website, where I used to watch anime, wasn't up the old one, only the new one. I was like, "Okay, it's on the list, it's time I want to watch it."
Oh boy, I should have looked at the datas on myanimelist better. 'Cause
...
I didn't know that it was only 12 episodes.
To be honest, this was not the only problem. I know that an anime takes a long time to make and I'll always be grateful that companies work so hard with them. In my view, they lost a lot of opportunities, because they didn't recreate very iconic scenes and a lot of reasons or reasons makers were left out. One of the biggest plus points of the old one was that it consisted of many episodes, so during the plot we learned something not only about the main characters, but even about the supporting characters
Story: 10/5 - As I watched, mostly only the main events were redone and to my surprise there was still a plot change (like Mint's part)
The characters will be the hardest to talk about, because in the original we can get to know them not only in 12 episodes. It was good to see the team and overall I think everyone did their job properly. (By the way, my memories may be bad, but besides Ichigo, the other girls had diferenc name??? Update:yes, it turns out that the names are really different in my own language lol)
Characters: 10/7 - Everyone is as they were supposed to be, and I'm glad that Ichigo wasn't the only one who did the tasks like the original did in the first season.
+ I think this is where I can speak about this the best: So far, I've mostly only said bad things about the 12 episodes, but Ichigo and Aoyama relationship I THINK it was better. Thinking about it, Ichigo didn't meet Aoyama that many times in the original, Because of this, this love thread is much cuter in the new one and I like it.
What I want to mention the new designs. I've seen so many debates and wars about it on Tiktok, so please don't kill me, but I think it's 50% they're not that good...
Animation and design: 10/5
Essentially, it was an... ok anime. If you don't want to watch the original or just need a reminder about it, I think it's good to watch. It's worth it for old fans, for new fans it might give the atmosphere to the original.
I'm just happy that more and more people are getting to know this anime, because I think it deserves a lot more attention. Of all the magic girls anime, I hear the least about this.

I don't have much to say, just that I love it. I don't know why, but sometimes I watch ALL THE OVAs in 2-3 days. The story, the music and the characters are really good. I love everything about it and I never get bored.
The story tells the adult life of a woman with a cute look who has adopted the "good girl" demeanor her entire life and when she has had enough, she transforms from a great office worker into a wild metalhead. This anime shows that it's natural to hate your asshole boss or your two-faced coworker, and it's also okay to dream
...
of a better life, while you try your best. Of course, to forget the horrible reality while watching it, it brings up a lot of funny situations.
I just wish more people would see and embrace the rage within and give themselves a hug because they've did a lot today.

After many romantic animes, I thought I should watch something on action, and damm baby, now I'm going to be depressed for a while, because I won't find anything like this. Honestly, I'm not a very good critic. I have three reservations: good characters, good world building, and interesting parts. This anime delivered on all of them.
Good characters: Each character has their own background story, goal and how they want to fulfill it. I was very happy that the anime did not only focus on the main character, but also the side characters got some plot twist. Unfortunately, a few characters were already written out
...
at the beginning, but I'd rather have less than the bad use of many unnecessary characters.
World building: THIS IS THE WORLD! MY GOD, SO CREATIVE! We learn more and more in almost every episodes, so it's like getting the puzzle pieces together with the characters! It come up with such a good idea and the magic system is very unique!
Interesting parts: If the world is interesting, then the emerging topics are also interesting. It raises many moral questions and gives plausible answers. Also, the characters are always put in a new situation or have to use a new method.
It deserves a 10/9 and now I have to wait for the entire second season to come out and I can marathon it.

I watched this when I was sick and was looking for something to watch on Netflix. This was probably the driest anime I've seen in 2024.
The anime is a retelling of various Grimm fairy tales, which is an interesting idea, but it was so poorly done. It was already clear from the beginning that it wouldn't be a big hit.
The stories they chose at the beginning were okay (Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Hansel and Gretel) but after that there were some that I didn't know existed. Most of the stories were retelled in a very similar way or they added a random twist and
...
that was the special thing about the story. In addition to the Grimm fairy tales, there are two guys and a little girl, who we don't know anything about, but they also appear in a few stories and you just wonder why, but there is no answer.

I have to say... I didn't remember there being that much of a difference between the first and second seasons.
The story starts with four more vampire dudes showing up and kidnapping Yui. We follow the Sakamis trying to get her back and how Yui is trying to survive as food... Okay, it may sound crappy, but like I said, it's better than the first season. The story brought up some really interesting things and "went deeper" in a few episodes, but there were still some questionable things. 10/5
The characters are much better. Maybe because there was only four characters instead of six. We got backstory,
...
lore, and a few references to the original game and everyone had their time. So I think this deserves a 10/6.
I won't talk much about the music and the visuals, since everyone knows that this is the strongest part of the anime. Everything is very nice and smooth. Everyone is really smashing in it. 10/7

Eh, tbh I watched this when I was 11-12 years old. Bc nostalgia, I thought it would be a good idea to watch it again
And DAMM there is lot of red flag. The game (in my opinion) is better and it was quite difficult for the anime to decide how to process it. Also, the manga is...interesting?
But please don't watch the anime. The main story is about Yui. Due to her father's request, she had to move to an unknown place, where she soon found out that six smash vampire guys live there and she realizes that she was given an "offering".
That's all I
...
wanted to write about the story. In the game, the story was based on our choices and I have to say it made me quite sad that... we got this. Like we could have seen Yui go completely crazy and kill everyone and escape, but no... So the story gets a 10/3.
The characters... I hate Ayato. I don't understand why he's the main ml and every time he appeared I wanted to punch my screen. Apart from Ayato, the other characters are horrible and some (in my opinion) didn't get enough time. Since I'm older I can only feel sorry that Yui went through these terrible things. The characters gets 10/2
The whole anime is amazing with its looks, because it has really nice animation. It's obvious that this is an old game, but when it came out it was already a big deal (and the video game has a pretty good style too), It's obvious that they worked a lot on it and it always looks great, 10/7
All in all it's just 10/3

Here's the perfect example of when you tell your friend "Yes, you can copy my homework, just don't make it exactly like that". It's like Kamisama Kiss only... worse.
The whole story starts with a girl named Himari, whose parents died when she was very young so she had to live in an orphanage. Until her 16th birthday when she gets a letter saying that her parents have entrusted her with a house in the woods, so she goes there and finally has the chance to know more about her parents. But things don't really go as she thought, as it turns out that it's an
...
abnormal house and a boy has to guard it with two of his servants.
It's not unique. Like I said, it's very similar to Kamisama Kiss, but it was made with less money. It uses basic tropes a lot, but sometimes it can keep your attention.
The characters are... one-dimensional. Like Aoi and Himari, there's not much to focus on. I understand that the servants had their own part, but unfortunately not following the "show, don't tell" rule. Apart from them, there are a few random students who are friends of Himari, a villain introduced in the last episodes, a mysterious villain (we don't know anything about him except that for some reason he is very obsessed with Aoi's guardian form, Nue. He was an interesting character and I think it's a shame that they wasted him). Out of everyone, Aoi was the most developed, he brought up interesting topics and it was nice to watch how he transformed from a 10-year-old child into a somewhat bitter lonely teenager. Himari is simply a pick me, typically the "I'm really nice, I don't want to leave anyone behind, my friends, this isn't you!" (yes, she really said it)

I just finished it and to be honest, I'm pretty sad that this anime turned out like this. I will keep it short (lol).
Basically, I liked the basic idea of the story: I like reborn magical animes. The world and the magic system were also very well developed. But the fanservice...ruined it.
I don't see how you can ignore the fact that Lloyd is physically ten years old and every female character is romantically/sexually attracted to him.Every episode has a scene like this and it ruins the whole thing so much....
I really liked the last few episodes (I just call it the Jade
...
saga lol), because the anime brought up a lot of interesting things there and it wasn't just about Lloyd being too epic for a child. If it was like this the rest of the parts would be much more enjoyable.
10/4
If you want to watch a fast trashy anime with action (and if you can stand very, very, VERY MUCH fanservice) then maybe it's worth a look.
