Oh nice haha, I can relate about the same ol routine. Nice nice, when my friend recommended Gargantia to me, I couldn't stop watching it til the end lol. I really enjoyed it also and like you said it had nice animation, plot and twist. There is 2 OVA eps also. And there was a 2nd season on the way but they canceled it :(
Yeah I'm not a mecha type person either lol, but some mecha anime are good. Evangelion was awesome!
I've been good myself, currently on holiday, so just been gaming it up and tryna watching some anime, im behind haha!

Oo Bokue dake ga inai machi (Erased). I'm really loving that anime atm, prolly my fav of this season. Gate 2 is not bad, its alright. I'm waiting on the dub versions of Divine Gate, Dimension W and Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash. I've seen the 1st episodes. Dimension W seems good.
