Hiya, there's no need to apologise I know we are all busy people. Yay good to know you successfully finished your course. Hope you can relax a bit more now :)

I had another friend recommend me 'Your Lie in April', I will definitely find some time to watch it. A double recommendation is always a bonus! I'm starting Rose of Versallies next week and I'm really looking forward to it. Finally after 2 years, I found time to watch it ^_^

Hiya ^_^ I haven't watched as much anime as I would like. I've been kinda out of touch with anime but I think my mood is coming back a little and I want to start 'Rose of Versailles'....it's one of the series that was recommended to me a couple of years ago which I haven't got round to seeing but it's next on my plans now.

Good luck with your course, teaching/working in Japan sounds awesome! I plan to go for a trip there at some point :)

How are you getting on with 'Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso'? Any good? It's still airing but it looks interesting.

That's okay :) Anyway, I'm about to start anime series 'Fantastic Children'. It's nice to get back into anime again.

I've seen Tokyo Godfather and I enjoyed it. I haven't seen Millennium Actress are they from the same creators?

Hiya! I've added Nagi no Asukara so hopefully I get round to watching it. For now I have a few anime movies planned :)

Hiya! I heard of Nagi no Asukara. I hope it worth the watch. I feel out of touch with anime so I'm not sure what else that's good. It's hard to pick out good anime...maybe it's me that's picky...lol.

I have another look around :)

Hey there! Nice to see you here on MAL. Thanks for the add :)

I didn't know you watched anime. I just started watching 'Romeo Blue Skies' so I will be around here a bit more to update my eps :)

Are you watching new anime at the moment? Anything good?

I took a picture I found and cropped/scaled it to size (probably in Paint, maybe GIMP, can't remember) then uploaded it to Photobucket and pasted the direct link in the About Me section with codes around it. [*center][/*center] codes around it as well. It's the same coding that CAA forum posts use. I don't actually know HTML X3 (Although it does interest me)

Oh man, you're getting into the really good parts of g Gundam now!
TheSubtleDoctor Jul 28, 2013 1:56 PM
That's awesome. Both shows are just excellent, so you can't go wrong. Minmay only gets worse! Except for her songs, which I like. Definitely check out other Osamu Dezaki works if you're a fan of RoV.

Go Macross, indeed! Please let me know how you're liking SDF. You're not alone in working backwards through the franchise, as most modern fans have done that.

Hey, happy birthday! I hope it's a great one. :>
EchoingTheme Mar 10, 2013 7:43 PM
No problem! I've only gotten to read the first volume so far, but it's good. My sister really really enjoyed it, and I look forward to seeing where it goes. :>

Well, I am trying to keep my TBW list limited to things I plan to watch in the near future. I still want to see Saiunkoku, but I'm not sure I will get to it soon. That could very easily change, however, as I tend to chose which anime I want to watch more on a whim than on a plan.

As far as stuff to watch, I can recommend a couple of things based on some of your MAL scores. I think that you should get into the work of Osamu Dezaki. He is one of my favorite directors and my favorite creative force in shojo. Rose of Versailles and Brother Dear Brother are both excellent series.

I also noticed that you quite liked Akage no Anne, so you should try out some more world masterpiece theater stuff, like Little Princess Sara, Nobody's Boy Remi (another Osamu Dezaki work, incidentally), or Romeo's Blue Skies.

Regarding Eden of the East specifically, you might try taking a look at Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. It's written and directed by Kenji Kamiyama, the same guy who wrote and directed Eden of the East and Moribito.
