Here we go the 1st non-Preliminary review.

I started reading this one some years ago. I read about 10 chapters then I put on hold as it was a good marathon material and it was still publishing, and everyone knows the pain of waiting for the next week chapter in a thriller manga, also chapters were about 6-10 pages so those who read it week by week ended up giving a low score....probably dropping it.

I was searching for a manga to read on my on-hold list ... some days ago and found it with "finished" status, so I gave it a chance and didn't regret it.

The story is thrilling as it takes place in a strange realm and there's always something new to discover about its mechanism every chapter. I was reading about 10-20 chapters/break time. also, there's plenty of twists in the plot.

The art is good and clean.

The characters vary.. irrational, logical, good, evil and unpredictable ones...So there's always a character to root for even if you didn't like the mc.

Really enjoyable series, you should give it a try.

This one is underrated and needs a review.
(there may be minor spoilers, I will try to make them as much little as I can)

TL;DR Overall this a Gore (very Gory to be honest) Horror Thriller Mystery thought-provoking enjoyable story that's written too well unlike any other horror I watched, read or played.

P.s. If you don't like Gore, there is no joking here and you should look for a different title

The story:
It's too well written.
Unlike other horror series, movies and games that cook horror by adding two principles (fear of unknown + ton of gore content) to get a beautifully made horror ... as they think. and because of this recipe, People show different responses to the horror genre in general. Some people get scared, others laugh and others see its boring.
This series is different. It starts slow but get crazy later on.
why couldn't the writer just do as mentioned above? Why did he put a lot of meaning, hard work, twists, emotions, and thought-provoking dialogues?
by doing what he did, it gave us a good story which you can't react to as any other horror series out there, can't rest till you reach the end and can't stop thinking of it after you finish.

I disagree about two points in this story :
(you may agree with or against me it's a though-provoking series after all)
------1)The idea of co-existence with other kinds....
this story follow the General Japanese anime concept
the story is of two groups lets say A and B
when A tries to kill B, it isn't A's fault
but when B fights A back, B is a monster ?
Enough Japan stop spreading this idea. all over your works
(I think people who watched the show got my point)

Well, this was drawn beautifully. The pupils and how they change through series events are enough to get this one a high score.

Sound:
I got into anime in general by anime music pieces I listened on youtube.
One of these anime which had a great soundtrack was Shiki. I even listened to the whole soundtrack many times for a long time before I watched it.
Made by Takanashi, Yasuharu the same guy that made Naruto Shippuden, borto and hell girl that was a masterpiece only the 1st op, end songs were terrible.

Characters:
Here is where the writer Nailed it. there are many varieties ones disgusted me (Tatsumi comes to my mind, also migami), others felt sorry for and many many feelings (enough spoilers for now.) The writer as I mentioned above didn't write a shallow horror story but with those characters, he filled that usual hole in horror series, you can feel every grain of emoition in this series is well done. some episodes that was with much emotions that comes to my mind the 2 extra episodes 20.5 and 21.5 make sure to watch them especially 21.5 important to the story.

Enjoyment: as I mentioned before. It starts slowly and boring but gets crazy later on.unlike any other anime I watched this one, 2 episodes at a time and the last time 8 episodes straight.


As I said before "..This one.. you can't react to as any other horror series out there, can't rest till you reach the end and can't stop thinking of it after you finish.."

TL DR; If you can bear gore this one is a must read
(I would recommend listening to "sowulo - SOL (2016) album" with your reading for full experience (fits with it like key and lock) )

story 10/10
I won't tell anything about the story so rest assured.

A Gory samurai age story as the cover implies (as the most of this genre) but:

1- with a bit of science fiction and some medical knowledge.
2- many arcs not long few boring ones
... 3-many characters so you are not only following a single protagonist but multiple characters so you not get bored
(and easy to follow don't worry).
4-Things become crazier as you read. Sometimes the roller
coaster slows a bit but then you are near a cliff edge of future excitement in the next chapters.
5-Not the typical samurai wisdom and says you won't get like other ones of this type of stories always contain but
a semi-modern modified type you will enjoy.
6-mind blow ending

Character 10/10
Another special about this Gem is the characters..everyone has their up and downtime and None is invincible
The dialogue is impressive and it what I liked most about the series. (as much as the main story of course)
Also, they are easy to follow from their way of speech and the character art.
Every character with a motive, backstory, principles and enough screen (ehm paper) time :D .

Art 9/10
This one is the best I have seen in art but next to Vagabond.
the manga beats Vagabond in every aspect except for the art can't deny it.
Every character is special and art gets better every chapter.
People look real Japanese and that shading is Gold quality.

Enjoyment 10/10
To describe it in one sentence (one more chapter manga and then I will stop)

Wow, I will have the honor to write the first non-preliminary Review ^_^
I only review anime/manga which I find to be a Masterpiece, So Let's start.

TLDR; 7seeds is a hidden gem, which didn't make it's way to the top 50 because of it's incomplete translation (or that's what everybody thinks..I'll discuss how I read it to the end in a separate forum post) 178 story chapters + 4 extra chapters (only 2 are translated that far)

Story 10/10
All of this started when I found this manga ... recommendation in an article about "best manga that should receive anime adaptation" (I was in the beginning of building my reading list back then), And it should!
I usually don't read the synopsis before the story ,as I want to read the first 1-3 chapters without spoilers, and I advice you to do so to feel it from zero to the peak (It's a matter of taste.)
Anyway, This author is very creative, yet realistic in many aspects.She knows well about culture, science, history, classical music, medicine, forensic medicine, physics, animals and even video games. She also knows how to write good monologues, how to break down a sentence to give maximum feelings of it.
I won't spoil it but aren't those tags enough to get you interested to read ?

Art 8/10
Everyone has a weak point, and it is the art here. In the first chapters the art isn't appealing and it seems below the average, but keep reading then you will find it improving.
The colored covers are amazing, Some of the first pages black and white are well-crafted, The mouth line is cute, Faces (especially the boys) are handsome. One of the things that I found weird is the tears and why They're drawn to like froth? :D

Characters 10/10
The characterization is Top notch,Every character feels so real. This the first manga that make me sad and happy unlike any other one.
Well our MCs are girls and also boys but girls get more screen (ehm..page) time (so the shoujo tag which I suggest to change it to Joesi), Every one with his motives ,skills and back stories.
If you ever to hate a character, There are many many more. From the fool to the intelligent, from the clumsy to the courageous type, from the warm heated to whom with a stony heart and from who have many flaws to whom is nearly perfect.

Enjoyment 10/10
This manga is a masterpiece in its own but I think there's some kind of problem with the scanlation group , It doesn't mean that I'm not grateful for their work, but to find out after reading chapter 96 that the scanlations aren't complete beyond chapter 150+ broke my heart and the upload rate now is one chapter/six month , I spend almost all my rest time for weeks enjoying this alone, I didn't read another manga or watched anime..only this one satisfied me for that period of time.
I went from begging scanlator groups to find alternative solution and I have founded a one (actually very tiring but worth it).

Overall 10/10
This isn't much to be said after this long review . If you're planning to read it, change it to currently reading and enjoy this masterpiece. If not then why not to give it a try?

**story
Tl dr..Creativity is the word can describe this story.
A deep show about the education system..both comedy, drama, fiction and reality

Whats special here that they mix humor and comedy with everything , a deep message to the teachers about the education way should be , a word to the whole world who can children be unique even with bad grades they hold potential to do any thing even to get high grades and become scientist and so on.
It also included si-fi with those guns and knifes ... and whole concept , drama with very inspiring quotes and moments.
What's also special is the arc length , some shows tend to have lengthy arcs to pass time ,however this show didn't have ever an arc that exceeded two episodes which implies the variety of thoughts this author have and how clever he is ..

Sountrack ..
. very good and stab you right in the feels and will search for it to save it right after this review, the openings and endings are very nice especially the 1st , and I was about to cry in other times , feel action in action and serious in inspiring moments and comedy when its indicated

Characters..
Kuro sensi is the 1st character to add on my favorite list , a teacher deal with the badest class of school , with unchanged wide smile. He gave them every thing he got. Sharing every moment with his students with inspiring quotes Except for him being a pervert which I don't like but every one has its weakness.
Kurasma.. The firm character and the caring gaurdian
Prof bitch.. The one I didn't like very much but for comedy she did her job well
Students..every one is unique so I won't talk about every one to save your time :-)

Art
I will say only one thing
put nagisa _blue_ kaino _green_ karma_red_ kuro sensi _yellow together every episode
And you have a wonderful piece of art

Enjoyment absolute fun

Overall
whatever was the 1st 4 episodes.. he got his 10/10 back by episode 5, a deep show about the education system..both comedy, drama, fiction and reality , very high recommended show

However his soul should thaw...
please don't think badly of him.

Another marvelous special as we used to get from mushishi series, the series that I count watching an episode of it is like consuming one gem of a treasure full of a limited number of them , a sound track I listen to for about 4 hours straight and enjoying it every single time , stories told in wonderful atmosphere and full of wonderful quotes.

I have no more words to say as I write more I ... will spoil this wonderful special

It seems like nothing special but I face many people every day and I do know the feeling the speaker is taking about..

Highly recommended for mushishi lovers.
And for those who haven't watched mushishi (1st season at least).. what are you waiting for :D ?

Anime these days look like each other (idea , ending , story line) ..sort of.. but this is new idea some way

The PG-13 is a disappointing tag for a one about 20 to see on his plan to see list.. But watch it whatever your age and keep watching to the mid series about episode 6 before to decide whether to drop the show or not. (you won't regret watching ... it)

Story 10/10
very slow till episode 5 and seem childish and I was to drop it at episode 3 but the things come after that In a nice, deep and philosophical way and you come to think ..oh I know the ending will be "..." but you find something changed and you think "ah um by the way things changes here , It will become "..." and you keep doing this till the end which is truly magnificent.

Sound 10/10
The sound track fits the events very well and the ending song keeps ringing in my ear from an episode to another.. they are few STs but they are deep and nice .

Characters and art
I am not used to rate these categories as I always rate an anime by my ear (story and soundtrack) rather by my eye (art) ..

Enjoyment 9 /10:
after the 1st episode : wow that sounds like a new Idea like not other anime It can get the 8/10
from 2 to 4 : I am surely going to drop this show It's childish , boring and I feel It will deliver a weak message 6-7/10 .. but give It another try
from 5 till end : It Really deserves 10/10 for the story and the message It delivers

I thought that it will be a boring Romance movie , I made a mistake to download and
watch

but I found that (after the whole movie)
The story is new .. confusing at first .. but thrilling at the last few scenes

I found mystery , comedy and Drama taking the upper hand rather than Romance (which also appear in the movie in a good way )so If you neither prefer Romance or not you will find this Enjoyable (this is my experience - as a person who doesn't tend to Romance anime- after I ... watched this)

I liked the songs especially the ending ..also the soundtracks as well

overall an amazing movie
