Few weeks ago I watched the first episode of N.H.K and feels like there will be some heavy topics and some weirdness too. Sadly I was not in a mood to get into something like that. I have good expectations for it. I will continue it later.
Oh wow it really must have been BAD then; if I may ask, what did you hate about it so much? Also surprised you didn't end up dropping Tokyo Revengers S2 LMAO
I DIDN'T SEE THE POST CREDITS AHH- THANK YOU FOR TELLING ME! I wonder how in the world it's going to fit in the rest of the story, but it seems like an interesting enough concept. 👀
Even with how popular Naruto is, I've still somehow never seen a single episode. Did you watch the whole series? And it sounds like we started pretty close to the same time then!
I think it will be amazing too! I think going in blind will make the ending even more enjoyable. No way they aren't going to give one of the most beloved anime of all time the very best they have, especially since they stretched it out to give even more time to improve it.
Just finished the finale, and wasn't very impressed with it. Did you enjoy the last episode? Frankly I highly doubt I'll end up watching S3 of the show because I just don't see what could be left after the way they wrapped everything up.
Seriously it didn't feel like an hour at all, genuinely it surpassed all expectations I had for it- even though I knew I would probably love it. It's so cool that it's the first anime you've ever watched, I guess it must be extra nostalgic for you. Did you start watching it when it first aired, or more recently? Technically I tried it in 2016 or 17 (only the first episode) but didn't really get into the series or any other anime until 2020.
I hope it concludes beautifully as well! Are you someone who's hoping for an anime original ending? I'm just gonna go in with no expectations that way nobody- including myself- can ruin the experience for me
Oh absolutely I prefer the WIT animation/character design more as well. Especially Levi and Mikasa I think consistently fit and just looked better in that art style. Speaking on that, what did you think on the new AOT special episode that came out last week? I don't think I'd been so mesmerized by an episode like- ever. Couldn't take my eyes of the screen heheh
That's so true, I really don't even think the time travel aspect of the story was the best move anyways. If they'd just made it more about the actual gang and that experience, it probably would have been more digestible and felt like more of its own thing.
If the animation had been done by the OG studio the season already would have been a lot more enjoyable, but I suppose there's no point in lamenting what could have been.
I'm so glad you ended up enjoying it so much! I'll try to have it finished in the next month or two so we could actually get more into the specific details, because now I want to know what I missed 😤
TRUE! Do you know any other anime or anime studios that are really good at incorporating CGI? I can't think of many off the top of my head.
And the fact that he will continue crying all the time throughout the rest of the story is...bad. Even despite the mixed reception on S1, I genuinely enjoyed it and thought it had the potential to go places- which is why I read the manga afterward. Now I just feel disappointed when I think about the lack of character development in basically every character, even by the end there is little to no change in any character.
Hope you end up watching it someday then! I put off starting it for a long-ass time but I couldn't stop watching it once I really got into it. Never would have thought that I would have put a weird yellow octopus in my favorite characters list, and yet here I am.
Also...cheers the reunion of Fushi, Gugu, and March is finally a reality! Ahh I hope they have some really cute moments together in the last episode because I was so happy to see them together again. Was it as good as you were expecting?
