Greetings Jealot, I saw that you started a few Spring 2017 shows.
At the Anime Guild our main specialization is being a Seasonal Club. We are embarking on a new season.
We do choose the best Opening, Ending, Character and of course Anime of the Season with a Discord Channel and also a Power Ranking Group.
If that seems appealing to you, make sure you participate in our activities for Spring 2017 by joining our club.
I have already sent an invite as well as provide a link to our club ^.^ - http://myanimelist.net/clubs.php?cid=63899
You can answer with short answers or long answers both are allowed.
You can comment or PM the answers if you find it to private ;3
I don't want to force you to do it, since you can decide yourself if you want to or not :3
1. What Got You Interested In Anime? :3 2. What is your favorite genre(s)? :3 3. What's your favorite anime if you had to choose one among all your anime? :3 4. Has an anime ever made you cry? :3 5. Which anime made you laugh the hardest? :3 6. What anime(s) are you expecting most from on this season? :3 7. Are you the type to only watch anime once or do you not mind rewatching a anime more than once? :3 8. Do you listen to Anime OST (if so which anime)? :3 9. Have you watched a anime that portrays your life in a similar way, if so what is it? 10. In your opinion, what makes a good anime? 11. Do you think you’ll ever stop watching anime? :3 I'll answer your questions in return if you have any? :3
So from what I gather from things, as long as it's not from the main universe (?) it doesn't really matter what order=i.e they're standalone series? Thank you for that infographic too, it looks super helpful!
And I agree, to be honest I was expecting a tragic ending after the build-up in the last few episodes. I'm glad to hear you found it fun at least, I really do think creating that ridiculous yet entertaining atmosphere is where the show excels.
Hey, I just thought I'd let you know that I've (finally, after 2 months..) finished Code Geass! I actually binged the last few episodes in two days, I feel that it started slowly for me but of course, when it all started coming together it was impossible not to speed through it. Before finishing it I was quite sure that I'd leave some time in between before watching season two, but I don't think I can anymore, haha. As soon as I catch up with my watching list, I think I'll go straight back in.
I was so surprised at where the series got to in the second half, and despite having had a few things spoiled for me the ride was still amazing.
So overall, thank you for the recommendation- I'm so glad an incentive for me to watch it arose, because otherwise it probably would've sat in my backlog forever. I didn't hear your final opinion on Samurai Champloo, but I hope you enjoyed it- it of course is of a complete different nature to CG, but it's a show that I absolutely love for its characters and music, as well as the general atmosphere. I also think the ending was perfect, which is a controversial opinion, but hey :P
Just another (unrelated) thing, I noticed you've watched quite a few Gundam shows; which series in your opinion would be the best for a newcomer to the franchise to start with? I've had an interest in starting it for a while now but I'm pretty clueless, and reading watch order guides just got me more confused.
It is, quite! It's the whole point of the show though; the anachronisms are crazy and I love it.
I'm going to try to power through Code Geass this weekend hopefully! I'm really enjoying it so far :)
