Although many believe a happy ending is most often times not a "good ending" I would beg to differ. In this season, Natsume not only presses towards the future, but shows flashbacks of the past. I was thrilled to see more of Natsume's past because it enabled me to fill some of the mysteries behind his past.
I can't help but praise this anime on it's ability to take repetitive situations, and make them unique. Natsume almost always gets into trouble, but not in a logical way. The scenario is often the same, a youkai wants to hurt him or request his assistance. Yet each
...
end result is different, whilst simultaneously being slightly similar. Albeit slightly similar, the satisfaction the viewer feels is still high. There's a notable sense of growth and development within each interaction This anime is so relaxing and does such a great job at catching the viewers attention.
The characters are perfection, the support characters continue to grow. They're so realistic and heartfelt.
Sadly there's only one more season after this. I expect it to be spectacular.

Once you click the play button you will be hit with a wonderful opening which will draw you into the anime. Then towards the end of each episode, you'll be left with a nostalgic song; a beautiful piece of art. The highest quality of lyrics and singing will sooth your ears and submerge you in it's feelings.
Natsume Yuujinchou; a very simple anime which has done almost everything right. A boy who can see youkai (spirits) that no one else can. However, rather than your usual fighting anime, this anime focuses on the struggles and growth of the main character Natsume. How difficult must it be,
...
to be able to see things no one else can and be called a liar for speaking the truth? Whether or not we choose to blame an entire species for our misfortunes is our own choice.
This anime is exceptionally good in my honest opinion, I myself am trying to refrain from finishing this series too quickly. As delighted as I was that there were a couple of sequels, I knew that they would be finished within the blink of an eye. Good anime's do that. They leave you always wanting more, wondering what's going to happen next. The anime is so heart warming and relaxing; it's a great break from the typical action or purely psychological sad anime.

I'm normally not a fan of your typical comedy/romance/shoujo anime, but I must admit I really loved this one.
Now, the plot may not be that original, but who cares? It's an enjoyable anime, that's more than enough to satisfy the regular viewer.
Story 9/10:A quick synopsis of the anime would be a girl becomes a deity, and get's a familiar. As she starts to train to become a better deity her relationship grows with her familiar. The story is basically set up for a romance theme, and it's quite interesting. There are some cool fight scenes and very good plot lines. It's definitely not
...
a "unique" story line, but what matters is it fits into the anime very well. The anime is hilarious at times, and also has touching/adorable moments.
Art 9/10: Aside from the main characters blushing consisting of cross-marks across her face (I can't stand that), everything else about the art is consistent and well done. The characters are appealing, and so is the scenery.
Sound 10/10: When you first press that play button, your ears will be gifted with an amazing OP, and then towards the end an amazing ED. They're both soothing to the ear and have great lyrics.
Character 9/10: There's a lot of character development as the story progresses. I first assumed no development was occurring because all the characters were in a bit of a slump, but I was relieved when I started to see more growth. Of course, each character has their own back story and they're all pretty interesting.
Enjoyment 10/10: I really liked watching this anime, and it's probably the only romance I'll ever watch. I found myself laughing out loud a lot, and I really like the main characters and their personalities. It's not just lovey-dovey things, the characters often stay true to their personalities and that's what is best.
Overall 9/10: *I'd recommend this to anyone whose looking for a quick romance anime, with a bit of action.*

Genre: Ecchi, Shounen
Note these two genres seem odd together, because they are! It's more of an ecchi anime, with a humorous captivating plot. However, rather than just being a regular ecchi anime there is also a factor which will appeal to girls. The main character is an adorable 13 year old boy, surrounded by beautiful girls. This being said, I find it common for both genders to find the "physical appeal" of the anime to be quite satisfying. Basically, this is just an Ecchi anime with a plot revolving around a shota-boy.
Story 9/10: The story is based on elements (chemistry) and people with the
...
power to control them. The characters get their powers from breast milk... I can't help but laugh every pre-fight scene because of that fact alone. There is a lot of fighting in the anime to defeat a certain group/character. The anime consist of the typical "friendship" theme where people warm up to each other and start appreciating the others existence. Middle of anime was little boring, but spend up at end
Characters 8/10: I loved the interactions between the three main characters, their personalities and the way they treated each other gave a warm friendly vibe. The characters were original and unoriginal in their own way, for an Ecchi anime I'd say they were fitting and well done.
Art/Sound 7/10: The anime has a lot of boobs... the characters are decently drawn, nothing to be disappointed about. The voices are good, and the OP/ED are alright.
Enjoyment/Overall 8/10: The anime filled the expectation of an Ecchi anime, with a shounen plot. These anime in my opinion are pretty rare, and good ones are even more rare. I found the series to be worth a watch if you're interested in the genre. Although, I can only stand so much of ecchi I lost interest and had to take long breaks between episodes XD.
*Reminder, if you do not enjoy either of these genres of anime, obviously, you will not enjoy the anime!

This anime is a shoujo anime, so if you're looking for an anime about a cute boy this is basically it for you. In fact it's probably one of the best well drawn adorable boys anime out there.
I didn't notice the genre of the anime until the first few episodes when I decided to see where this anime was actually going. The anime's basically a common told story of a boy who has little memories, and his best friend Gareki tags along with him and they join a institution which fights evil.
Simply put, the story's for people who want to stare at an
...
adorable boy. The art is absolutely stunning, very high quality.
Looking at this anime from a holistic view, I wouldn't say it's great as it is mostly an anime for physical appeal rather than anything else. Nevertheless, the anime does fill its role of a pretty story with an average plot.
On a side note, the anime has a great OP.

Genre: Comedy/School/Slight Romance *No Spoilers*
Story 8/10: A freshman in high school named Yuuta once had "8th grade syndrome". This is a phase where the person believes they're a superhero type character and acts like it in public, and at all times. In order to forget his embarrassing past, he transferred to a new high school. He then meets a girl named Rikka who currently has 8th grade syndrome and follows him around. The story unravels from there.
Art 9/10: The characters, scenery, and colors are up to date, as expected from a 2013 anime. Overall the anime is pretty to look at and of good
...
quality. The "fight scenes" where hilarious, and actually pretty flashy/cool.
Sound 8/10: The OP/ED are enjoyable, the voices of the character were okay. The music for the fight scenes was well done.
Character 8/10: The characters are semi-funny, some are extremely annoying at some points but the viewer can still empathize with them with things get serious. My favorite character has to be Rikka's older sister, just for her personality and actions.
*Enjoyment/Overall 8/10: The anime is sort of funny, not an anime to die of laughter, it's simply just a quick enjoyable show. I found that at the end of the anime, I actually could not come to a conclusion whether it was okay for someone to continue with the 8th grade syndrome, or if they should conform with society to meet the expectations of others. I thought there would be a clear answer towards the end, but I ended up having no freaking idea. The anime left me puzzled which decision would have been the "right" or "better" one.*
*I would recommend this anime for anyone looking for a quick school comedy. If you were a kid who imagined you had super powers as a child, then this will probably make you laugh a lot.

Let me start this review of by showing the anime's descriptive genres.
Genres: Drama, Ecchi, Romance, Harem (Not so much "Harem")
If neither of the above interest you, this is definitely not your anime, do yourself a favor and carry on.
I must state that after a few episodes, the anime got me hooked pretty quickly. There was actually a plot to the random sex, and the plot was actually pretty interesting. The idea of incest was really disturbing and repulsive to me, but the anime made it work and actually made me question it.
Story: Sora loves her twin brother Haruka, yet they are siblings and the
...
idea of it is repulsive to outsiders. Haruka dates many girls in an attempt to replace his true love.
That's all I can say without spoiling the anime.
Would I recommend this anime? Well if you're interested in Ecchi/Hentai then yes I would, harem not so much. I had very little expectations of this anime based on it's rating, but I was very surprised with the outcome. It also made me change my ideas on incest, if both individuals are in love then it's not my business to say what's wrong and right.
The opening song is really good, and the art's not bad for this type of film. I watched the entire anime in one day, it's one of those anime where you can just sit down and finish the entire series.
The rating I gave is based on the genre of the anime, compared to other anime of the same genre I think this anime succeeded and deserved a 8. The anime fulfilled its intentional goal.

I heard of this anime plenty of times, but never gave a bother to try it just by looking at the title picture, shame on me.
For Magi's genre (adventure/fantasy) I think it successfully filled those roles.
Story 9/10:
The anime's about a boy named Aladdin who is joined by his friends Morgiana and Alibaba. The anime contains magical powers but is not centered only around magic. There is also sword fighters, along with fist fighters etc. I won't mention the "plot" because that's a spoiler, but the anime is sort of adventurous and in the settings of empires/conquerors.
I very much enjoy settings where empires, kings,
...
queens, princes and princesses exist. Not for the monarchy though, moreover, for the ability to conquer lands and the idea of warfare. The entire setting of the story, with modern day morals and an outdated century makes the story great. The idea of self government, world government, and dictatorships are portrayed very nicely. Although some people were expecting a story more similar to Aladdin's lamp, they were probably disappointed, but just because the anime doesn't relate to that story doesn't mean it's bad. It's an entire different series of its own so it should not be compared.
Art 9/10: Art is pretty good, the quality is certainly better than some other anime. The colors show out the most, the character art is not bad, the magic is well done.
Sound 9/10: Average sound, sound effects are good, op/ed are also good.
Character 9/10: The characters are likable, there's many different types of characters which would appeal to viewers. Typical protagonist hero, but not as stereotypical as one would believe. Aladdin's sort of a clueless child, but not stupid which makes him likable. Personally, I really enjoy the presence of his friends Alibaba and Morgiana. Thankfully none of the characters hold in "secrets" like obvious secrets where the need to tell someone or bad things will happen. That annoys me greatly, when characters know they should obviously get help, but act as if by trying to treat themselves alone they won't hurt anyone.
Enjoyment 10/10: The anime gets better as it progresses, I find the battle scenes very enjoyable. Keeps me on my toes wondering what'll happen. It's pretty flashy fight scenes to, sorta cool :).
Overall 8/10:. I found it worthwhile to watch and entertaining. It may not be the best anime, yet it's certainly no where near the worst, and it is enjoyable as any other anime I'd recommend.
The anime fell off from the manga towards the end, I think it's fine to drift away from the manga, as long as the anime itself is good. Although the ending may have been disappointing to some, I'm curious to see what it'll bring in the second season. If the anime simply ended as it did, without a second season then perhaps my rating would change, but it did not. I do wish the story stayed with the manga, but hey things change and I'm not going to automatically assume "wow anime destroyed good job" without even giving it a shot. That's just ignorant. Keep in mind if the author of the manga finds it acceptable to deviate away from the manga in some episodes, then no one should be saying "they screwed it all up" since it didn't follow an exact plot line they desired to occur.

*Short Review*
I'd strongly recommend this anime to anyone who has free time, or is waiting for their series to catch up. It's definitely a good movie (only one hour) that's very touching. I won't go into a lengthy summary because many already have done that perfectly. The story is simply about a mother and her two werewolf children. What captivated me the most was probably the simplicity of the characters, and how the problems were realistic, yet obviously fantasy. Themes such as "what lengths will you go to care for your child" or "what can a parent do if they can't always protect their child"
...
appear in this movie.

Fate can bring a about the happiest of lives, yet it can also bring about a life of misery, crime, and suffering. The idea of even slightly altering a fate must come with punishment, and throughout the anime the viewer will see the cycle of "fate".
A family of three consisting of two twin brothers, and a little sister are united in one home. Fate however, dictates different paths for each individual; none appealing to either individual. The act of changing fate comes with a reward and a punishment. The family will go through extreme measures to pursue their "goal", and not all their goals
...
are the same. There are many flashbacks, which the viewer can piece together to further understand the situation. I won't go into further detail to avoid any spoilers. Yet keep in mind, the anime does speed up after 10-ish episodes, so do not feel that the pace will be "super slow and boring".
I would recommend watching the entire anime before rating it, or condemning it "bad". I had no intention of calling this a good anime, until I actually was near the end and realized what all the flashbacks where implying. The typical "annoying" characters get less annoying after things get serious, and the plot twists are very difficult to predict.
Story 9/10: The story is heart warming, interesting and the plot is rapidly in motion towards the middle of the anime. When watching this anime it's important to remember the 1/3 of the anime is getting you to warm up to the characters and understand their personalities and present situation. As the anime reaches the mid point, it starts to rapidly reveal each character's secrets.
Art 8/10: The art's decent, nothing surprising, but definitely not "bad".
Sound 10/10: Really great OP/ED songs that directly relate to the anime. The music is great.
Character 9/10: The characters are basically the entire anime. There are plenty of characters and the viewer will have the chance to understand almost all of them, and see from their POV. At first I was really annoyed with a specific character, yet at the end of the anime I actually liked the character because the characters are constantly evolving. Their ideals change, and so do they themselves.
Enjoyment 10/10: The anime really made me think throughout each episode, it was a puzzle I had to put together and it was a fun puzzle.
Overall 9/10: I'll admit the anime was very entertaining to me. I liked the characters, but mostly I liked the whole entire scheme of the story (which I poorly explained to avoid spoilers).
