Self-Introduction
Hello there, I am just another unfortunate life-form to walk the face of this earth. I originate from Singapore, otherwise known as the
Rude-Lion City.
I currently am facing the stresses imposed on me by the infamous 'O'-Level examinations, thanks to both my school authorities and the rulers ministers-in-charge of the education system. I am currently just about free from the horrors of said examination.
As you may already have guessed, I am a fan of Iresu (イレース) {better known as Ilyana} from the games Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance (ファイアーエムブレム 蒼炎の軌跡) and Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn (ファイアーエムブレム 暁の女神), thanks to her strange tendency to go hungry easily.
While many out there might regard school as being a horrific place
that brainwashes you, I take simple measures to quell the full impact of this unhappiness by spending as much of my free time in the library, in addition to taking a liking to English Literature and Geography.
I am open to all friend requests, unless you are a malicious demon out to eat up my cookies. *grins*
Ratings
Disclaimer: These guidelines may or may not be followed closely. Ratings may change due to unforeseen circumstances such as being biased towards certain series, or even due to mood swings.
Additionally, ratings are only given only after I complete watching all the episodes of any anime series. (What's the point of leaving a rating after watching the first few episodes when you are bound to change it later on anyway? :3 )
The scores I give to any anime productions (in general) are based on the following guidelines:
- 9~10: Highly enjoyable, with little or no flaws detectable (at least by myself) throughout the series. Also dependent on how smoothly the animation and story plot flow. A masterpiece on its own.
- 7~8: Interesting enough to watch, but with several loopholes and flaws here and there. Higher rating is allocated for good-quality animation.
- 5~6: Lackluster series with average levels of entertainment. A better job could have been done during the production process.
- 1~4: Series on the whole are sub-standard with ridiculously-cliched plots and in some cases, terrible animations to boot. Higher scores are given to series with *some* attempts at creating good story-lines.
*Note: Animation-related factors do not apply to anime series aired before the year 2000, because the quality of anime series aired at said time is understandably poor.

I am rather annoyed with the 10-bit encodes that many fan-subbing groups are switching to. This is mainly due to the fact that I am currently using a Mac OS X 10.5.8 (Leopard), and so far, the only forms of support I've seen provided for Macs are exclusively for Snow Leopard and Lion, both of which I am unable to upgrade to due to a lack of funds (I am just a mere student).
What ticks me off even further is when fan-subbing groups do the switch without first informing anyone, and when questioned (albeit politely), turn around and lash at the 'sinners' who dare to make such queries.
Tips anyone?

I love your avatar :3
I play fire emblem too :>
That's ok though, and I do like giving you some attention. I believe at least everyone is entitled to that a tiny bit.
And ya, I'm with you, screw politics they suck ;x
Here are a few recommendations for the discerning horror fan:
Hundred Stories
Boogiepop Phantom
Kara no Kyoukai
Blood: The Last Vampire (which introduces the character of Saya)
Blood + (an "alternate" take on the story of Saya)
Hakaba Kitarou
Kakurenbo
And a couple that have horror elements, but are based more on the supernatural:
Mokke
Mushishi
Hope you find something you like amongst those titles :)
I don't think anyone does any scouring. I'm guessing it's an automatic-type ordeal. When someone uploads a video and it seems to match with a licensed one, it automatically deletes itself or a message is automatically sent to the security to be reviewed if it's licensed or not. Whatever the case may be, copyrighted videos will be taken down no matter what!
Not to sound rude, but 44 Hiki no Neko is just one very short video. There are countless other videos out there that are quite easy to find. You can always ask me for any other help and I'll try my best!
Anyways, I once read an article a while ago concerning this, actually, and I'm saying this along with my viewpoint as well. Everyone who's anyone has been on YouTube, and anyone who's everyone knows how faulty YouTube can be. There has been thousands, if not, millions of videos that get taken down regularly for copyright infringment uploaded by impostors. Because of this, no matter how official Japan's industry may SEEM to be, there is always the fear of that "official" uploader to be a fake. Thus, they simply remove everything and never deal with uploading anything ever again. Funny, because I read this off the internet, and it too can be faulty. Eh, whatever the case, don't worry yourself too much!
Oops, it seems I've rambled again. If I'm being a nuisance, stop me whenever! :)
I went and checked every torrent site I know with no results. It truly seems to be quite a rare video.
