By older people I meant 40+ usually married people with kids and everything. There's no way I can relate to people Iike that. =P
I'm actually planning to read Fire Punch soon. It seems like the kind of story I'd enjoy. Will keep Niehime to Kemono no Ou in mind too.
I just looked up the author, and you're right. She did some BL manga.
Though I'm not surprised. I'm getting a bit of BL vibes from Rakugo. Just a bit. Nothing like Yuri on Ice. :^)
I spent the 24th with my friends but my parents invited a bunch of people over for Xmas so I was at home that day.
I did get a bunch of gifts which was nice. One of my Dad's friends even gave me a new laptop.
A lot of the guests were older people so I hid in my room when I needed a break from them. :D

How did you spend your Xmas?
I planned on watching YuYu Hakusho eventually just bec it's by Togashi. But it's really low on my priority list bec in addition to the old animation, old-school anime tend to be extremely slow-paced. And from what I heard it's more generic shounen compared to HxH. But yeah, I'll still watch it someday. I'm trying to finish Rakugo, Konosuba & Yowamushi Pedal right now before their sequels air next month. ^^
Aside from the exciting matches, the comedy is also really good. Laughed way too much.
How was YuYu Hakusho? I never watched it bec it's old despite loving HxH.
And they have the same creator.

Great to see you're enjoying Ippo. I can't decide which has been my favorite match so far bec they're all good.
And I better hurry up and finish it before you catch up to me. XD
I liked that the hero isn't the typical wimpy virgin.
And not every good person gets "saved" so it made the story more realistic to me.
Unfortunately the rushed ending left me unsatisfied. =(
It felt like the manga got canceled and they didn't have enough chapters to resolve all the issues.
