You know I didn't say this before because I didn't want to seem like a troll or anything but I have read a lot of extremely stupid things on the internet about various things and you saying that Front Mission was never meant to be fun and that it was supposed to be meant as a documentary has got to be one of the dumbest things I've read. I mean its clear that you think you understand the front mission series but clearly you don't its a game that has a deep plot and has many references on real life but ultimately it is a game meant to be played and keep the player intrigued and interested but the overall product is pure fiction with Gundam and Neon Genesis Evangelion like features that go beyond the giant robots.

Based on your previous posts It's clear that you have not played most of the Front Mission games and that you didn't really read the entirety of my review because I did mention so many of the things you mentioned like shell shocked soldiers and that war is hell maybe not word by word but everyone can understand what I said provided they already haven't decided to bash my review because they didn't like the first few sentences about me saying that there aren't enough robot fighting or that the action scenes just isn't fun... My biggest criticism about the manga is that it didn't really show that war is hell but rather Humanity itself is composed of nothing but scum.

If you truly read through the entire manga then you'll notice that all the characters are evil in the first place its not just them succumbing to shell shock, no far from it people were enjoying doing those evil things like raping innocent civilians in front of journalists or killing soldiers who have already surrendered and decapitating the heads of fallen soldiers and hanging them in the barrel of their guns as trophies. Even in real life war zones those kinds of actions wouldn't go unpunished, remember the time when US soldiers were photographed peeing on the dead bodies of Taliban or Al Qaeda fighters? They were all severely punished, I forgot exactly what kind f punishment those US soldiers received but they were severely punished indeed. Also friendly fire is never excused, killing innocent civilians simply because they were caught in the wrong place at the wrong time is no excuse, in the manga the soldiers were proudly displaying all those horrific deeds in front of the journalists and even the main character is ultimately scum if you finished reading the manga you'll know.

Also please do not consider yourself to be a better fan of a series than other people simply because you think you know and understand the series so much better than others if you do at least make sure what you're going to say isn't some disgraceful made up bullshit like the post you just wrote on my comment box.

The bottom line is you're reacting angrily on a review I made months ago on a manga I truly wanted to like but simply couldn't because it just wasn't what made the FM series great, its just simply a gory manga that wants to shock the readers and that it used the Front Mission label to attract an audience.

Please don't think of me as a troll I was genuinely happy that you showed such interest in a review I made even if you disagreed and thought that I finally found someone who was as enthusiastic about the game as I was but no you ended up as some ordinary voice in the internet who thinks his opinion is better than the opinion of others... but hey I just had to write this particular post to make so many things clear to you kid, I still have many things to tell you butI know you won't react maturely enough on it so hey what the hell. Welcome to MAL :)

There were clones in Front Mission 3, I don't think we've played the same series

Dude the Front Mission series was a GAME... What are games supposed to be? And mangas are also supposed to be for entertainment...

still I guess i wasn't really able to fully expand on my review though, however you gotta admit Front Mission isn't as realistic as you believe it is. it has a deep and complex story but it also has tremendous amounts of anime inspired fiction like super soldier clones, and giant mechs and all kinds of crazy things. The games also showed plenty of different kinds of characters with colorful attitudes and my favorite character in the franchise was Ryogo of Front Mission 3 who seems to contrast some of the more serious characters torn by war but still cling to their humanity like Kazuki and Emma. The manga simply showed people exploiting other people and it simply wanted to showcase the brutality and gore of war.

I do realise that, but I also realize that it should be fun (like the games) and about people showing the best of what they can be. The manga adaptation simply showed how ugly humanity is and it did not show a single bit of the good within and the sacrifices of so many real life people show in times of war. anyway I made that review months ago and its nice that people still pay attention to it even though they don't agree with me
