My ratings are based off of enjoy-ability, not off of how 'good' and anime is. If its trash, but still enjoyable, it will get a high rating. If its a masterpeice that just didn't click with me, that will be reflected in the scores as well. One big thing to note is that, I don't really dislike, or especially hate, many anime. Therefore, since any score below a '5' would be something that I actively dislike, my scale essentially stops at 5, because anything below that I will just stop watching because if you don't enjoy it, why bother?
10 - Absolute thriller. Any '10' on my list is one that I found little to no lack of enjoyment, and usually an abundance of scenes that make me smile, laugh, or cry. These are the ones that I would most recommend seeing on my list, although since this is all from a personal level, I understand others will not necessarily have the same experience.
9 - A great show, very much worth a watch, but not quite great enough to keep me completely engaged the entire way through.
8 - A solid watch, not something that needs to be seen, but enjoyable nonetheless.
7 - Average, run-of-the-mill quality. Mix of good and bad, but not something I regretted watching.
6 - Sub-par. Most entries at this level I probably would've rather slipped over in hindsight, but there are still enough redeeming qualities for it to be enjoyable.
5 - Borderline bad. Anything with a rating of '5' is one that watching it is equivalent to laying on the floor, staring at the ceiling.
4 & Below - Anything in this range is something that I was forced to continue watching, plain and simple.
